Summary: The default picture settings have the sharpness up a little too high and made the text on screen seem off. Pretty easy fix. Also, make sure the "Game Mode" option in the settings is turned off. That degrades the quality of the picture and was on by default when I setup the TV. Make sure you use HDMI 1 is this is going to be used as a monitor.
Pros: I'm using this TV as a second monitor for my PC. The picture is great and the speakers work well for my use.
Summary: There is something effortless about this TV/Monitor. Leads to mucho time in front of TV!
Pros: Plusses: Good picture Just the right size. ATSC reception: Very good. (My old Sammy was poor) I do not require an external box anymore. REMOTE! finally a layout and response-of-keys that fits the task. Minus- the attempt to get a bit of bass out of the unit's speakers just result in a boomy muddle
Cons: Remote does not (seem to) operate my Samsung DVD.
Pros: All the connections options I could ever need, Best looking TV out there, Easy To Set Up, Energy Efficient, Good Remote Control, Great Picture Quality, Great Sound Quality, LED-backlit, Reduced Glare
Excerpt: Picture is okay, however not quite the quality we expected from Samsung but apparently the new "catch" for better quality, with regards to 50" and up, is 4K.Nonetheless, this is still a great buy considering that B&H's original listing price on this TV was already lower than the going retail price, but with the recent price reductions, this makes this TV and even greater value.
Pros: Easy To Set Up, Energy Efficient, LED-backlit, Reduced Glare
