Excerpt: I bought this TV during Black Friday last Thanksgiving and the TV died yesterday. I get sound but no picture. I have tried replacing the cables but that's not it. I bought the TV because I have another Samsung 27" that I love and I have had it for 7 years.
TV went dead after 15 months of below average usage
12 April 2015
Excerpt: Approximately 15 months after purchase the TV went dead. I was watching the NCAA tournament when I heard an unusual pop from the TV and it was dead due to a failed power board. This is the first set I ever owned that lasted less than 7 years.
Summary: I bought this tv from walmart during black Friday for the new house we were building. It sat in box for 4 months till house was done. After we move in and unbox it has a crack on top of the screen . Wal mart wont take back because of 90 day policy and Samsung wont do anything about it.
Summary: I can not review this product. It arrived with a cracked screen. It was returned to my local Walmart for a full credit. I then purchased the 50" Samsung UHD Smart TV in the store. I rate this one 5 stars and am very pleased with it.
Summary: Just went to the trouble to mount this TV with a wall mount. Turned the TV on for the first time and it has a bright white line across the top of the screen. Not at all what I expect from Samsung. Sooo, back to WalMart we go.
Summary: This TV has a cheap, flimsy stand, terrible sound, a washed out picture that is nearly impossible to tune with any precision and lacks all current features of mid-high end televisions. It's not ultra-slim, no matter what the description says - my 5 year old LCD is nearly as "slim".
Cons: Screen was broken when I opened it... Plus it was shipped by Ontrac which I've never heard of. I bet it got wrecked during shipping. People just don't care when handling fragile stuff. Now i have to wait for a replacement after i just coughed up 400$..
