Excerpt: Great deal and really good features, picture, and sound considering how much it costs. I had some stuttering problems when I first set up the TV, but read online that if you disable some of the features the stuttering stops and this seemed to help. This meant I couldn't use the settings I really wanted to use, but some of the settings posted on-line make the picture look pretty good. Unfortunately, while watching a movie today the screen froze and the TV just turned off.
Summary: I realize the overwhelmingly positive reviews for this TV so maybe I got a defective one. I first tested Pirates of the Carribean on Blu Ray to gauge the picture quality. While it was overall very nice, there was significant "judder," (i.e., jagged motion) that happened randomly, especially during fast-moving scenes. Then, I put in my Perks of Being a Wallflower Blu Ray. The "ghosting" (i.e., smeared motion) was constant, at least once every minute or so.
