Summary: Bought it for my husband who is an AV/ TECH guy by profession (very picky guy- says SUMSUNG is the top of the line ) ....told him one of my friends wanted to buy one for her husband (for advice) ...he was very happy when I got him his choice ! Note...my friend got one for her husband & he was very impressed! It was delivered on time....and in perfect condition...
Summary: Samsung UN46D6000 is a total winner. Excellent picture and audio quality, features and ease of use. My research showed this was the TV to buy and the product live up to the expectations. The price on Amazon was great as well. Just an excellent product and purchase.
Summary: We're very happy with our new TV. The picture quality and sound are great. It's helpful to have so many options for fine-tuning color, brightness, captions, etc. Both television shows and rented DVDs are rendered with clarity. My only disappointment is that the remote isn't designed with the user in mind. The buttons aren't located in an intuitive way so that you can easily move from one function to another.
Summary: I waited until this TV was available directly from Amazon so I could benefit from their guarantees. I'm glad I did. For starters, I ordered it on a Monday and received it that same Friday with free shipping! Within an hour of using the TV it developed a bad red colored pixel at the top of the screen. It wasn't noticeable except during dark scenes.
Summary: We purchased a samsung on the recommendations of family and friends. Initial setup was simple, the sound volume is ok. After 2 months of use, we are very pleased with our led tv, would not hesitate to purchase another if needed. Went to a local best buy store to purchase this unit, but the staff seemed only interested in leaning on counter, so after several minutes of ingnoring my wife and I, we went home and ordered through amazon online. Shipment was very fast!
Summary: Others have gone into all the technical stuff and that's not my thing so here's a review from a non-techie. Beautiful picture, great sound, easy to put together and set up. Especially want to comment on the sound since others have dissed it. We listen to classical music and opera nearly all day and the sound compares favorably to a stereo system for that type of music. Also, the sound clarity and breadth remains excellent even at extremely low volume.
Summary: Very good picture quality, though some bleeding on the edges is present. Nevertheless, totally worth it. Built-in apps make it easy to watch Netflix, etc, and can plug in any hard drive of flash drive and play AVI movies with no problem
Summary: This TV is amazingly clear. I absolutely love it. I have this puppy hooked up with a Time Warner 8300HD cable box. I found some great settings while searching so I figured I would post them here. I can't take the credit for these settings but i combined them to suit what I like. It seems like time warner tries to auto correct the sharpness, so to correct that and make it super clear I adjusted the digital and MPEG noise filters.
Summary: Finally bought this TV a week ago and I'm thoroughly impressed. For the price this one cannot be passed up. I stood back and looked at what I wanted from a TV and this one fit the bill perfectly. I didn't need 3D or web browsing so I passed on the other models. I researched the whole flashlighting issue thoroughly before making the purchase, and yes, there is a little bit of flashlighting present, but it's barely noticeable on a fully black screen....
