Summary: I am very disappointed with the new 40 inch Samsung Smart HDTV that I purchased. After only 2 and a half months of receiving my new TV it suddenly would not turn on anymore. I had to schedule a repair technician to assess the issue. I was told that the power supply needs to be replaced. I have been without a working TV for a week already. The part has to be ordered and another appointment has to be scheduled which will take another week.
Summary: About two weeks after I'd gotten it set up, the picture disappeared--but the sound continued. I turned the TV off and waited about 15 minutes and then turned it back on. The picture and sound both worked! But in just a few minutes they BOTH went off again, and I have not been able to get them to come back on. I'm going to call Samsung tomorrow to see if they have a clue as to what may have happened. If they can't help, I'll have to box it up and send it back.
Summary: *****W A R N I N G***** Do not buy SAMSUNG Televisions!!! Maybe $2,500.00 - $3,000.00 is not a lot of money for some folks to spend on a television, but it is to me. This is money I'll never get back, nor derive true enjoyment, nor value from due to the DEFECTIVE SAMSUNG product that I purchased.
Review of Smart TV feature only - TV picture great

Excerpt: Ok, this is a great TV as far as the picture is concerned. But the extra features of the Smart TV are kind of lame. The apps: I've had nexflix and other apps on my Wii and Xbox forever, so nothing new there. The TV has a limited memory, and there are several apps that come pre-installed and you can't uninstall them. These apps take up valuable space! There are very few good apps available besides Amazon Video, HBO To Go, YouTube, ect.
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Lightweight, Realistic color
Summary: With no reflection on Crutchfield itself thru which I ordered the referenced tv, had I realized the quality of the Samsung UN40F6300 tv, I would never have ordered it! It is a piece of junk! Brightness control is an absolute and total joke! My fault was waiting any number of months for a certain telecom provider to offer tv, internet and ip phone services on my street.
Summary: This tv would not connect to our wifi...called samsung support & had no support at all...they send email with incorrect solution...Went to live chat & got cut off...EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED :( If you are not tech savvy this is not the tv for you.
Summary: Picture quality is good. However, motion was delayed at times. Smart tv functions were awful, as I'd get a green, frozen screen whenever trying to play Netflix. When I used the web browser the screen would freeze as well. I have LG42LA6200 - it is way better guys.... much better quality.
