Summary: I purchased this Samsung TV several months ago and just got around to installing it this weekend. After two hours of installing wires and wall mounting the TV I learned the remote control was DOA. (I was smart enough to turn the TV on prior to install). After proving to myself the remote was bad (changed batteries, tried to reset remote per manual, other Samsung remotes worked fine with this TV), I called Samsung Customer Service.
Summary: This tv would not connect to our wifi...called samsung support & had no support at all...they send email with incorrect solution...Went to live chat & got cut off...EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED :( If you are not tech savvy this is not the tv for you.
Summary: Picture quality is good. However, motion was delayed at times. Smart tv functions were awful, as I'd get a green, frozen screen whenever trying to play Netflix. When I used the web browser the screen would freeze as well. I have LG42LA6200 - it is way better guys.... much better quality.
Summary: Support is farmed out and obviously the SLA with the supporting company is driven by close rate not accuracy. The same issue was trouble shot by first level support who determined the problem was outside of her capability and escalated. told me to expect response in 2 days. I got an email that told me to undertake the same steps I took with the first line support. I was very detailed in describing the issue.
Summary: Easy to set up and nothing wrong except you better be watching in a room with absolutely no light sources. The reflections from any light source make this TV totally unwatchable. Its going back to the store.
