Exactly what I wanted.
21 February 2012
Summary: This TV exactly what I wanted for my application. I wall mounted it in my kitchen after remodeling and it looks fantastic. It's a sleek thin TV on the wall with no cables or any other devices showing.
Pros: Very clear, sharp, bright picture. Samsung Smart TV lets me stream Netflix and movie files, music & pictures from my computer with no extra boxes attached. Very thin, mounts nice and close to the wall with a low profile mount.
Cons: I got the promotion with the free wi-fi adapter and it didn't get a strong enough signal after wall mounting (worked ok before wall mounting). Netflix would frequently stop to re-buffer or drop its quality level to a low bitrate to keep up.
Summary: If this TV is offered again for 649.00 I am going to pick up another. I will update the review again in a month to see how things are going. I have yet to play with all the settings and functions but so far so good.
Pros: I have been looking to buy this TV for quite some time. Got an alert that this was on sale for 649.00 and jumped all over it. This is a fabulous TV for the price and quality. I was skeptical at first to order the TV online and have it shipped but for 649.00 and Free shipping what a steal. I don't...
Cons: TV Sound. If you are looking for great sound I would suggest getting a receiver. The TV sound is adequate at best but does the job for casual viewing. When hooked up to your home theater its great.
Summary: Bought this when it was on sale for $649.99 with free shipping. For the price this is the best TV I've ever owned. Cable picture is excellent, has a high refresh rate so quick movements (sporting events) don't pixelate.
Pros: Smart Hub for apps, incredibly clear picture, price, LAN connection as well as a prepackaged wifi adapter.
Summary: This thin is extremely thin and has a very bright image. You wont be sorry!!
Pros: It's a Samsung, great image quality, smart TV capabilities.
Cons: Proprietary connection adapters (RCA/Component have a single plug that attaches to the TV and then the video/audio cables attached to this cable/adapter. This would be an issue if you lost it but not that big of a deal just strange) besides these days HDMI is the way to go
Summary: I bought this TV thinking that I could basically watch anything that I could online through my TV's interface. WRONG. The browser will not let you watch flash video like comedycentral or the free hulu. The apps that come with the smartTV or you can download suck.
Pros: I'm no digital video snob, so I think it's a nice picture.
Cons: 1-When screen is on the stand it came with, it can't angle downward. This is somewhat of a problem for me because my TV is on a fireplace mantle that is a bit high. I will have to mount it to a wall mount to angle it downward for better couch viewing. I read another review that said it's not real...
Summary: I've only had this set for a few days but everything is great so far, I'v been watching for weeks for a good deal for a 40-42" HDTV and decided to pull the trigger on this set. The picture quality lives up to the Samsung name and everything is working well thus far.
Pros: Amazing picture quality, thin/sleek design, internet ready
Cons: Box was a little roughed up upon arrival but contents were perfectly fine
Pros: Great Picture love the wifi hookup that I got with the package deal very easy to set-up love the samsumg apps and connect-ability My games from PS3 look great Newegg did a great job of getting this to me quick and I love that there was no shipping cost.
Cons: after I got this t.v. I was ecstatic with it it looked great and I fell in love with it. after having this t.v for 4 days I noticed a dark area along the top of the screen, I though it might just be the channel I was on but to no avail it is there whether watching t.v or playing games after notic...
