sound is poor. can only control the tv with a remote.

Summary: The sound is very poor. My husband and I have to turn it up to almost full volume for some tv shows. The picture is good. I don't like that there aren't ANY controls on the TV itself, not even a power button! What if I can't find the remote and just want to turn it off and go to bed? I have to unplug it?? My other model Samsung has a pose button and a volume button, etc., for those two reasons I would not recommend this model.
Summary: The television was acceptable, and everything was just as advertised. The specs for this particular television are quite a rare combination, and I was happy to find a Christmas present that included everything my husband wanted in the TV. I am satisfied with the purchase.
Summary: The television set arrived in perfect shape three days ahead of schedule. After assembling the base I plugged in the power and cable, turned it on and it worked perfectly. I juggled some of the settings, but ended up retaining the factory settngs. The only "complaint" is the sound, and despite the four or five options still sounds a bit tinny.
Summary: Only had this 2 weeks and just love it. No frills but excellent picture quality. I use it as our 2nd tv. Primary is a Sony Bravia. The H5000 has similar HD picture quality, more than adequate sound quality. All for way under $400.
Summary: This TV has picture perfect quality and amazing sound for a LED tv. It isnt skinny like a normal LED tv cause of the sound quality it packs. I mean its not amazing sound but its a lot better sound than i was expecting. I also game with this tv and the response time is perfect, no lag wat so ever. If you want to get the best quality with this tv switch it to Dynamic mode and its vibrant and perfect. You can't go wrong with this tv!
Should have followed an Amazon reviewers advice (he said Samsung does not make the screen for the 37 inch model -- avoid).

Summary: My first set had a major screen problem (split picture). And it took several hours over two or three days to confirm it was the TV and not my satellite box or DVD player. The replacement set was disappointing in the skin tones and seemed somewhat erratic; I sent it back for a refund.
Summary: Don't like that all of the HDMI inputs are located on the edge of the TV set as opposed to the back. This could have been an over site on my part but it was not clearly described. It this does not concern you - great tv.
