WIFI password memory bug.
6 October 2014
Summary: Everything about this television has exceeded my expectations except one little issue. There is random wifi interference that I don't have any control over. I have tried every possible wifi channel and multiple routers and tested with multiple devices, something in the area is blasting the Wifi spectrum with noise at random intervals. Definitely not the televisions's fault, this has happend since before I got the TV.
Gearing up for my second Samsung service appointment...
6 May 2014
Summary: UPDATE: Samsung repair happened and was relatively painless. They replaced the panel with a new one... no more green line. I have since noticed that there is an area of uneven backlighting (a band running from the top to the bottom of the screen that is lighter than the rest of the screen). Trying to determine how annoying this actually is before calling Samsung again to set up yet another repair appointment. Not particularly thrilled at the moment.
Summary: The TV was delivered well...the men were very helpful. Together we figured out how to get the TV going. (every year it is a new trick.) The visual part takes a little getting use to it but since it is suppose to be like watching a real person, I can accept it.
Summary: If you want to be able to talk to your tv and have it talk back and obey your commands and do just about everything you can think of, this is the tv for you. You can change the channel with the motion of your hand or call out the channel you want, check the internet, net flix, fuse with your LG home theater system as if it were Samsung and view a near perfect picture. This Samsung cost me $1849.00 and is worth every penny of it.
Summary: After 4 months, TV went into a rolling reboot mode. Called Samsung. They said they will send someone to replace the motherboard. It took 6-7 weeks for them to send a technician. Didn't expect this quality and service from Samsung.
Summary: Tv was listed as being in pristine condition with all accessories. When I received the tv and turned it on I have swirl shadow lines on the left side of the screen as if the screen has been pushed on too hard. When I picked the tv up from the carrier the tv wasn't even strapped down to the pallet it was just sitting on it.
Summary: I read the reviews about problems with this model and not having great picture quality. Still I had good experience with my prior Samsung TV so I purchased the TV. It was listed as an open box never plugged in. It looked brand new and worked out of the box. Not the best picture but acceptable for the bedroom late night TV watching. About 1 hour into a movie the TV turned itself off, then back on and the off etc.
Summary: I bought this TV on October23,2013. It died last month. Samsung said they would fix it, the fix it guy cannot come to my home, I live within two hours away from the nearest town. It has now been over 2 1/2 weeks with no TV, no replacement check and the TV just sits here. They cannot replace this TV with another one, so they stall you. DO NOT BUY A SAMSUNG TV. i I also purchased the wireless keyboard with the TV, they will not give me the money back for that.
Summary: I had a 51in samsung plasma for a little over 2 yrs, however, the 51in felt a little small, so i been looking for a bigger tv for quiet some time; was a little torned between vizio and samsung at one point, but in the end, decided to go w/ the samsung UN65F6400 65in. after getting everything setup, i immediately noticed the difference in the picture quality. The picture quality of the samsung plasma that i had was good, but the 65in is simply superb!
