Excellent Picture - Smart Hub (Poor for Netflix)

Craig Parvenik, Amazon
3 April 2015
  • Summary: I purchased this TV after dissatisfaction with the entry level Sony KDL60R510A which was a great deal but had poor color, I guess you get what you pay for. This is my first Samsung TV and replaced my 42 inch Panasonic plasma. The picture quality and colors out of the box are phenomenal!

Great LED TV, not a Smart TV due to buggy software

Kambiz N., Newegg
7 January 2015
  • Summary: The picture quality is great but the operating software and the apps are extremely buggy for a smart TV. For example TV Guide is slow and buggy, Hulu Plus crashes, HBO Go has audio issues with ARC, the ARC connection to the home theater is unreliable, and more.
  • Pros: picture quality smart remote control
  • Cons: extremely buggy software, constant crashes

So the whole SMART thing is out of the window

Ilya, Amazon
3 January 2015
  • Summary: I've had high hopes for that TV, but the menus are extremely slow, you can barely use them somethings. So the whole SMART thing is out of the window ... On top of that, you can't even sync it with Mac Books ... I'm done with Samsung, 'cause I'm not that happy about their Note 4 either.

Picture is good, Smart functions Weak

Amazon Customer, Amazon
27 December 2014
  • Summary: New TV out of the box only worked 15 minutes, then no display. Samsung service was quick, but brand new TV was still down for several days. Picture is good, but the smart functions don't work well. Trying to watch 3D from apps continually drops out of apps.

Decent TV but with lots of problems

Ken, Amazon
23 September 2014
  • Summary: Suppose it's just bad luck but so far this is the worst TV I've purchased. First TV I got failed after 2 days, just completely turned off while I was watching something on amazon prime.

Nice picture but 240mHz? Really?

Jackali69, Amazon
17 September 2014
  • Summary: Although the picture is quite vibrant and bright and the 3D is fairly neat, I was very disappointed in the refresh rate. With this particular TV, there isn't any difference in the pixelation when watching football games; which is the only reason I bought a new TV, to upgrade from 120mHz to 240mHz.

SOOOO Much potential, but trouble with Software / Firmware

Mr. and Mrs. Smith "SS", Amazon
22 August 2014
  • Summary: UPDATE - So, after a few weeks of having this TV, unfortunately I'm having to return. I still really like the TV, it just keeps switching inputs randomly and / or the apps keep crashing, I honestly can't quite tell which one.

Great picture, but streaming is awful...

atomx, Amazon
28 June 2014
  • Summary: The quality of the picture is excellent, HOWEVER, streaming Netflix is awful--it's a nightmare of pauses, buffering, and extremely poor image quality, all in a room with at least 25 mbps.

Watch this set before buying it. Check lower resolution images presentation.

Old DOS user, Amazon
19 June 2014
  • Summary: The good: It has a very sharp image. I am using Directv and I get 1080i at 60 frames per second. It is capable of 1080p, but my signal is not providing it. It has many options. It took me a couple of days to go through them.

Great picture but poor performance

Retailraptor, Amazon
16 June 2014
  • Summary: The picture on this Samsung UN65H7150 tv is outstanding and blows away the competition hands down. No lines or cloudy/dark areas and lighting is smooth across the entire screen, although I do see the occasional flashes of green vertical stripes that others have talked about being a firmware problem.
