Sound issue, but overall great
5 July 2014
Summary: We've had this TV for 2 years now. It's great. The picture is clear and we are able to stream Netflix and Amazon Prime on it with the smart TV feature. The only issue I have is the sound. Sometimes when there is music in the background of a movie and it has a bit of a deep bass, the TV makes this annoying shaking sound. Oh well, I wasn't going to pack it back and up and return it so we are living with it.
Summary: We are extremely pleased with the HDTV. The clear motion rate/240Hz is a terrific feature. The TV is loaded with features and abilities, some of which I do not plan to use. However, if you want a terrific picture, good sound, ease of use, multiple HDMI ports, then I would definitely recommend this HDTV.
Summary: I bought this for my mom (she's 57 for reference), and she's thrilled. It's huge, and the picture quality is great. But what she really wanted was the internet integration. She's not super tech-savvy (don't get me wrong, she can do basic stuff on most electronics; she's not computer illiterate or anything), and having to switch inputs on the television and work different devices and remotes to use the internet was just too much.
Amazing picture, can be glitchy and freeze sometimes though

Summary: Awesome tv, I love all the apps and how easy it is to stream from all the devices in the house, it sets everything up by itself. I can stream movies from my laptop to my tv and the laptop is in the other room. No more cables to hook up when I want to play something from the computer. It can freeze up every once in a while. Some times it will catch up and correct it self, other times it will have to be restarted.
Summary: This is a great TV for the money, I mounted the TV on the wall in my family room, great picture, and many internet features. The picture was excellent right out of the box. I only made some minor adjustments.
Summary: This thing has a scary good picture. Recently produced content is just unbelievable, while the limitations of older content are maybe a little too apparent. No artifacts, smooth motion, incredibly slim. Will need right angle connectors if you want to take full advantage of the slim profile. Sound quality is not very good. Smarthub apps aren't great -- Netflix, Hulu, etc -- but it is very nice not to need ancillary components to access web-based content. No 3D.
Summary: I really like the samsung TV. The picture is amazing with great sound and colors that are perfect. I have a google TV as well and while I really like both TV's, the Sony google TV is much easier to operate and the full keyboard remote on the google TV really puts the samsungs LACK of one into perspective.
