Good Picture / Some Quirks

seamonkey10, Amazon
12 June 2014
  • Summary: If you're reading this review, you're like me and waited a year to purchase this technology. Anyway...I've had the TV for about a month and I'll say that overall, it's a great TV. I was a little hesitant going with another Samsung TV since my last one was kind of bad, but so far this one has been great. The picture, for me, is the star on this TV. I played a Blu-Ray on my old TV and then this one, and the difference was astounding.

  • Summary: Pros: * Super slim, super small bezel, looks great on mounted on wall * Great picture quality * Netflix and HBO Go smart apps are really nice Cons: * Space-age remote is difficult to use - I prefer just using the standard remote * Minor issues when initially installing smart apps due to bad wireless internet connection

  • Excerpt: great pictures, easy to operate!!! I just hope that during browsing the internet, more video content can be played! I am not sure if it needs or supports adobe flash player to be able to play more videos in the internet.
  • Pros: Bright display, Lightweight, Realistic color

Awesome TV with great potential to enhance your Media Experience!!

DanielF823, Crutchfield
10 November 2013
  • Summary: (4.5 to be specific. Would really be a 5 but the refresh rate/response time could be higher... even in PC mode) This is a freaking awesome TV. I have listed all the things I love and hate below. This TV is not only pretty in the Picture department but looks like it could be on the wall or a table of even the most 'posh' socialite or fortune 500 boardroom. The biggest drawback is the for gaming it's a little jittery in high motion... Especially First Person Shooters...
  • Pros: -Great picture - Good Sound in the TV - Smart apps look AWESOME ON IT!!!! (Amazon instant video HD) -So so so so sleek look that would enhance the room of even the most high style lovers.
  • Cons: Could have better response time with Picture enhance functions for smooth fast paced gaming

Samsung 8000

Michael, Crutchfield
10 November 2013
  • Summary: Excellent Picture. Easy Setup, although you need two people to assemble stand. Interaction is good, voice commands are ok if you have a quiet room. Remote should be better response time and more.sophisticated.

Nice TV

SyFiMan, Amazon
1 September 2013
  • Summary: I've only had this a month. So far so good but I'm still learning all its capabilities. I bought this TV along with a Samsung Galaxy S4 and Galaxy Note 8. They do all work together but it takes some trial and error. One thing I've been sorting out is all the add-on apps that come pre-installed from various vendors, many all do or offer the same features so you have to try each and decide which work best for you.
