Stay Away from this Set!!!
3 January 2015
Summary: I have had this TV for less than a year and for the last several months, without warning, it has started to turn itself on and off. Today it started going thru an on/off cycle and has been doing that for several hours. While I like the picture, a Google search has shown this issue has existed for years and Samsung even lost a class action suit because of it. I would definitely caution anyone seriously thinking about getting this set to reconsider a purchase.
Summary: The TV is big but the stand is not as secure as it could have. I feel so uncomfortable having it stand on those tiny legs. The SmartTV works well as with any Samsung SmartTV. I like the looks of Plasma TVs better than LED; the faster refresh rate shows when playing games. But, I have no problems with this TV so I recommend it.
Summary: I did not buy this from Amazon so I cannot comment on Amazon's service, but I love this TV. It has a unique and stylish look and the picture is great. This is my third Samsung TV. Typically I turn off the "Auto Motion Plus" setting because while Samsung claims this makes action less blurry I find it makes movies look more like they were shot on videotape rather than film.
Summary: I had a un55es6500 which was a great TV. No picture issues or motion blur. The tv was repaired 4 times. The tech could not fix the issue. Samsung swapped the TV with a new one from the 2013 lineup. The replacement closest to what I had was the un55f6400. Went to the store to look at it and it had a nice picture. When I called Samsung to get the replacement. They said they could upgrade me to the 6800 and it was a better tv. The specs are slightly better.
Summary: Good TV with good picture quality. But the software that make it a "smart" TV is a little bit buggy, specially the Internet browser and there's not many apps. There's room for improvement in that aspect.

Excerpt: Excellent telly. 3D is off the scale. Well worth the money. Colours and sound are A1. The only downside is the stand/feet, they fit to the each end of the TV, which means your table or TV unit has to be at least 55" wide in order for the TV to fit. So please consider this before buying. Spent another £200 to get a nice TV unit/cabinet to take the Telly.
