Light, low power, fairly fast smart interface
1 August 2014
Summary: Light, low power, fairly fast smart interface. Very thin frame. Great picture. DLNA features work very well. Switches between resolutions quickly. Hand gesture feature can get annoying after a while. Voice activation feature as well, when kids are around. I will never buy any other TV as long as Samsung keeps making these quality TVs. Many great things about this TV. I also own the UN55D8000 and a Pioneer Kuro Elite. The Kuro still has deeper blacks, however.
Summary: Absolutely love this tv! One concern we had was the chrome bezel and that it wouldn't disappear when watching, that it would be distracting for 3D images, but it's not, it completely "goes away"! And it's a lot if dun to watch broadcast TV in 3D too, especially highly defined images, think Archer, each character is outlined in black and the tv does a great job at making it look 3D! It's great and not just a gimmic!
Summary: We purchased this TV in March of last year and so far have had no problems with it. When the TV arrived we had the delivery service leave the TV in its boxes as we were getting ready to leave when they arrived but there was no damage due to the delivery service. My husband and I were able to set up the unit very quickly and although we have a really nice stereo system, decided the quality of the internal speakers were nice enough we hardly ever switch over to our stereo...
Summary: A grand piece of wall decor that completes the living room even while it is turned off. Immersive experience in its 3D entertainment, smart applications, web surfing, and HD quality for even on the air channels. Live up to its name as a Smart TV via voice commands and gesture controls! It really gives me a true sense of satisfaction!
Summary: This Samsung is last year's model - But it leaves nothing to be desired - the picture is very good thanks to the 240hz refresh rate. It connected to the BOSE cinemate sound bar easily via optical cable and the OPPO Blu-ray player via HDMI 2 in the back of the Samsung TV - all of these components were purchased from Crutchfield and I am very satisfied.
Pros: Good discount for last year's model - hurry stock is low.
Summary: We looooove it. We do not use the motion control or voice activation features but can't imagine who would. We did try them for fun and they do not work well, but we love the picture, size, style and feature set. Can't imagine what they could improve on that would make any difference other than being able to control the dish with the Samsung remote.
Pros: Slim, minimal bezel so it is virtually all screen on the wall, stunning picture
Cons: Remote doesn't control satellite remote. Voice & motion control don't work, if you care.
