Summary: Delivery without extra charge was appreciated. The TV arrived in the original Samsung packaging and was in excellent condition. The TV was competitively priced although I never thought the day would come when I would spend well over a grand for a TV. Out of the box set-up was straightforward - I could do it myself with a little help from Verizon's customer service to activate their HD box. The visual appearance of the set and its stand is great.
Summary: Im very satisfied with the tv, It has great picture quality and has very useful features that although not need are still very cool to have. The motion control can sometimes recognize my hand when im not gesturing at the tv which can get annoying.
Summary: I do love this tv. It's picture quility is excellent. The close to framless screen is awsome. This tv has so many features some of which I have not used yet. The only flaw is the tv turns on on its own, not often, twice in two months. Hopefully samsung will come up with a solution for this. I would recommend this tv to everyone. Its a beauty and works like a charm.
Summary: The tv is beautiful and the image from Direct or Dish is stunning, however, my Apple tv's videos are terrible. They look grainy, cloudy, and distorted. I have found other users with the same issue on Apple forums. My old Sony LCD had no issues. I hope Samsung finds a fix for this very soon. I feel quite dissapointed after spending so much money for a tv.
Summary: I bought this TV, fell in love and ended up returning it due to a factory defect (a large dead pixel right in the center). I ended up getting a Viera plasma and think it has a much better picture, but I wanted to review this TV since I still feel it is amazing in many ways, and is still a worthy purchase despite its exorbitant price. First off, this TV is sexy; it is simply stunningly designed and looks very elegant.
Great image, confusing network issues with some apps

Summary: Have had TV for a weekend now. First, a note on what I'm judging against: my last TV was a Toshiba 52" 'slim' DLP (13" deep, internal projection) at 720p, that didn't even have a built-in tuner, e.g. an "HD-ready" set from about 7 years ago. So maybe anything would have pleased me by comparison!! But by that comparison the picture is night and day.
Summary: I bought the samsung TV because it looks so stylish and I loved all the gimmicks that came with it. I have not however been able to set up the U shaped TV stand it has come with which was pretty disappointing. The screws needed are already screwed in to the stand when delivered, so you need to then remove them attach the TV and then re-insert them.
Summary: The first thing to consider when purchasing this Set is the Price. I don't believe the ES8000 Models is in any significantly way better than the es7000 model, therefore I advise you choose the ES7000 model if you want one of Samsung's top 2012 TV. The ES7000 is almost identical with the exception of the Micro dimming mode which is supposedly more advanced in the 8000 model.
