Summary: Dont spend your money on this tv. Its broke 3 times during the first year. To replace it or get money back from samsung very difficult. Try another brand not samsung too many failures. Very disappointed.
Summary: I purchased the UN55ES800 after having to throw away the 46" style because of weird vertical lines. I upgraded to this one and it's only been 14 months since I purchased it and again I'm getting the same weird vertical blue lines. And to top it off it turns on and off for several minutes before it stays on. However, when I switch channels the same thing happens. I contacted customer service and they told me the warranty is only good for 12 months.
BUYER BEWARE!!! FAILURE OF BOTH MY 7000 AND 8000 SERIES SAMSUNG SMART TVS

Summary: I will NEVER buy another SAMSUNG TV again. I should have learned my lesson when my recently purchased 7000 series Samsung 3D TV failed. I thought it was an isolated incident and couldn't possibly happen again so I decided to take the plunge and buy another Samsung. This time a top-of-the-line 8000 series with all the bells and whistles. Within 3 weeks of owning, a blue line ran vertically down the right side of my screen.
Read this before if you are about to buy this product / be careful about this product

Summary: Just six months ago I supposedly purchase one of the best TVs’ of the market today, but this was not the case!! The TV is already presenting damage, is turning on and off by itself. I paid $2.500 for something that is no longer working properly. Be careful with this product, definitely I do not recommend it. This was the first time I decided to choose Samsung instead of Sony and it really was a big mistake.
Summary: The TV turns on and off by itself, sometimes when I turn up the volume on the TV also turns off. I have already given reset in TV and the problem continues. The touch control remote is not working. I need help for this situation because i bought this tv only 2 months ago and now it's impossible return.This tv it's very expensive.I'm waiting a contact the store or the amazon.I need a fast solution for this case because i have only one tv in my house.Thanks for attention.
Summary: I was shopping for a 3d slim led tv. Having been extremely satisfied with 3 samsung lcd tv's I've owned in the past, i decided to buy another. I wanted a 46"-60" silver smart tv, with a slim bezel, active 3D, and at least 3 hdmi. I was considering the 7100, 7500, and 8000 and ultimately decided on the 8000 series due to specs and aesthetics. I preferred to higher clear motion rate (CMR) of this tv vs the others.it produced excelent picture even with fast motion.
Summary: After the third set I decided to give up on this tv! This is a great tv in terms of picture quality, colors, design, connections, GUI, calibrations, web browser, skype camera etc.etc., and actually it is one of the most advanced televisions on the market. On the other hand it has huge flaws. All my three sets had big clouding problems (the first had a dead pixel too).

Summary: The picture is incredible on this set. But it has a major issue the set keeps turning off and back on by itself every few minutes and nobody seems to know or want to recognize there is a major problem. Any similar input is appreciated.
Summary: Wasn't warned this was a foreign spec TV which cannot pick up UK freeview. By the time the return has been processed, this TV had been discontinued and replaced by the more expensive UE55F8000 which I bought instead and is an amazing TV
