Summary: The picture and features are amazing .. not so much the smart hub though. I use a pc connected and its great. The smart hub has issues because at times you will have no access to it, if samsung servers are down. (how ridiculous is that? so if someone every shuttered the hub would probably be useless). Also the netflix app is really horrible for the smart hub and the other apps are mostly uselss. Although i did get a kick out of using skype on it.
Summary: A grand piece of wall decor that completes the living room even while it is turned off. Immersive experience in its 3D entertainment, smart applications, web surfing, and HD quality for even on the air channels. Live up to its name as a Smart TV via voice commands and gesture controls! It really gives me a true sense of satisfaction!
Smart TV? Not this device. Buy a dumb TV and get a RoKu.

Summary: The user interface on this shows no imagination and is totally eclipsed by my RoKu box. When spending this much on a Smart TV, I would actually like it to be smart. This device fails that test.
BUYER BEWARE!!! FAILURE OF BOTH MY 7000 AND 8000 SERIES SAMSUNG SMART TVS

Summary: I will NEVER buy another SAMSUNG TV again. I should have learned my lesson when my recently purchased 7000 series Samsung 3D TV failed. I thought it was an isolated incident and couldn't possibly happen again so I decided to take the plunge and buy another Samsung. This time a top-of-the-line 8000 series with all the bells and whistles. Within 3 weeks of owning, a blue line ran vertically down the right side of my screen.
Summary: This Samsung is last year's model - But it leaves nothing to be desired - the picture is very good thanks to the 240hz refresh rate. It connected to the BOSE cinemate sound bar easily via optical cable and the OPPO Blu-ray player via HDMI 2 in the back of the Samsung TV - all of these components were purchased from Crutchfield and I am very satisfied.
Pros: Good discount for last year's model - hurry stock is low.
Summary: The picture on this TV is absolutely amazing. I purchased it to replace a 40" Sony Bravia XBR and it is like night and day. The color saturation is great and the picture quality is impressive. I was not expecting much of a difference as they are both at 1080P, but it really is substantially improved.
Pros: Great picture, lightweight, and the edge to edge lighting really really ensures there is not wasted space.
Cons: The voice commands and gestures are a little gimicky. It was midly entertaining at first but at the end of the day the remote is still way faster.
