Samsung TV a Bright Spot

Summary: Had purchased this Samsung UN55ES6100 Smart TV a few months ago and found the picture image to be fantastic and the sound quality is also very good. It was the first Smart TV that I have ever owned and the High Definition is beautiful to view. Being a golf and basketball lover, I found sports to be seen very differently.
Summary: Ok ... I really really love this TV. The only issue I have is that when the volume is turned up during action packed movies, the back of the TV rattles from the speakers. Especially when there is a lot of "booms" or low bass/thuds is when I notice it the most. Not sure how this problem can be corrected, but I've learned to deal with it.

Summary: Overall I like the TV and would recommend it to anyone, however, I'm not sure if I would ever go through the process of purchasing a TV from Amazon in the future or if I would recommend it to anyone else. The TV: Very nice, quite slim, and very light compared to my previous 50in Samsung Plasma TV Picture quality is great, motion plus takes some getting used to and you may need to adjust the picture settings to fit your needs. Sound quality could use some work.
Summary: I have no complaints about the TV, but I was obsessive before I purchased it whether or not the SmartTV functions would be worth it because you pay a premium for it. So far so good, but 100% of the time we are using either Amazon on Demand or Netflix, and both of them are available through TiVo as well as gaming devices. The picture quality of the TV is great. I wish the light on the remote would stay on longer.
Summary: This is a great TV, but its default picture settings are lacking, and many of the web pages claiming "professionally calibrated" settings really only work for low light movies. After fiddling with the settings for many hours, these are what I would recommend. Picture Mode: Standard Backlight 15 (any higher and you get bleed through in black scenes) Contrast 75 Brightness 45 Sharpness 50 (others recommend 0-20, but I think 50 is best for HD) Color 50 Tint G50/R50 ADVANCE...
Summary: To start off, I gave 4 out 5. It is an excellent TV for picture quality. There is none like it. Samsung did a good job in that area. I am too picky you may call it. If I am pleased (as my wife would say), it has to be good. Picture is what a TV is all about. In that department, they have hit it out of the ballpark. Here comes the "Smart" part. You think you are going to work it like an extension of a computer? You have got a surprise coming.
Summary: I've had this TV for about a month now. It is absolutely beautiful! The blacks on this samsung are so dark that the screen almost looks completely off. I have not seen any backlight bleeding from any angle. It is very impressive and a joy to watch on. Overall my experience is great with a few caveats. Here are a few points to take note of if you're considering this tv. First and most importantly is smart hub. In theory its convenient but in practice its nearly useless.
Summary: June 4th I bought a UN55ES6150 from Sam's Club. Took it home and started to assemble the unit. Step one is putting together the base stand which requires assembling the TV bracket and the base stand together with four (4) screws. The screws would not engage. I took the two parts apart and inspected the base stand and found the four holes had not been tapped with threads. Just clean painted holes and the screws provided are not self tapping type.
Summary: This TV was a replacement for a 2011 model that we couldn't get connected to the WiFi network. Many calls to Samsung, Cable Company, etc....no one could figure it out! Finally Samsung replaces the 2011 model with this one and....same problem! Internet connection was solid but could not engage any service (Netflix, YouTube, etc). Finally the 8th guy at Samsung I talk to decides to set the DNS to 8888 and poof, works like a champ!
