  • Summary: I replaced a Samsung 46" LCD with this 50" LED TV. It is located in a Great Room where seating is about an 80 degree range. Once it was up and running (more about that below), it was obvious that the clear picture viewing range was MUCH better for the LED TV vs. the LCD TV. There also appears to be a superior anti-reflective coating as well since the glare from windows seems much reduced.

  • Summary: We got this TV for $698 on Black Friday. What a deal! It has everything we wanted in a TV...and more. For the money, it is more than we expected to get. For under $700, this is a great product. It may not have been our first choice if we were paying $1,000, but it probably would have been included in our list of possibilities. It may have won.

  • Summary: When it comes to electronics, I am not even close to an expert, but this TV was pretty easy to figure out... It's been a week, I'm still learning... But I love it!

  • Excerpt: Mostly watching TV and DVD movies. So far, very happy with the picture quality and easy set up right out of the box. This TV replaces another Samsung, a 43" plasma which we have been happy with too, but not big enough for the family room. Things that aren't so great is the weak TV sound, only 3 HDMI, clanky Smart TV feature.
  • Pros: Best looking TV out there, Easy To Set Up, Energy Efficient, Great Picture Quality, LED-backlit, Reduced Glare
  • Cons: Another Hdmi Connection, Poor Sound Quality

  • Summary: owned a big screen TV that was out dated and we wanted to upgrade to digital/ HD .. a little overwhelming getting used to the new technology but we are learning the features. Had to order some different connections to make the transition w/ our Wii/ DVD, etc. The sound is not the same quality we had w/ big screen TV (huge speakers) so we will probably buy surround sound of some type to go w/ it later. Overall a good purchase.
