Samsung UE46ES6800

Battybway, CNET
23 December 2012
  • Summary: You can put up with the problems this set gives or buy a Panasonic Plasma and enjoy pure picture quality. The Samsung TV nonsense needs to stop! When I bought my HD TV, I auditioned all the available sets from the various manufacturers and the Samsung WLEDs were shocking. Do yourself a favour - try the alternatives - gimmicks are no alternaitive for liking what you see onthe screen.
  • Pros: Can't really think of anything
  • Cons: Gimmicks and poor picture

  • Summary: Unfortunately, we had to send this fine TV back, because at the top of the entire length of the screen, the pixels were glowing bright green.

Very dissapointed

Mr. Christopher Saunders, Amazon
28 February 2013
  • Summary: After researching this tv and the panasonic DT50b, we decided as we already have a Samsung 6540 we'd get the slightly better version. Screen was a great price sold via PRCdirect (I had purchased my previous Samsung from them too) Ordered the screen paid £25 for delivery so wanted to know when it was going to be delivered so called up PRC and they said 3-5 days... which i thought for £25 was a joke, so called them back and again they said 3-5 days.

Do not buy a Samsung Smart (ie Stupid) TV

Stella Matthews, Amazon
14 December 2012
  • Summary: Total waste of money as the Smart feature is Stupid. All my devices work quickly with my router except the TV. On the rare occasions it connects to the router it fails to remember what is supposed to be saved. I have spent an age on the phone to the Samsung helpline to no avail. They refuse to send a specialist to help.
