The greatest LED TV on the market
9 September 2012
Excerpt: The Samsumg LED TV is not only the greatest TV in the world, it is the greatest TV in the universe. The color is amazing, a very realistic picture. My wife and I bought a blue ray LG sound system to hook up to one of its many HDMI ports--by the way, by the HDMI cables from the internet, not from a store as stores rip you off. This TV also has a content feature which allows you to view paintings, scenery, or wildplife phtos while entertaining guests.

Summary: I bought this tv after reading the reviews online and then looking at it in Best Buy compared to the other LCD's and "LED" LCD's. There was even quite a difference between the 6000 series and the 8000 series. Once I realized I could buy the 8000 series online for less than what Best Buy wanted for the 6000 series I was sold. The picture quality looks good even with just a 480i signal going to it but is amazing with 1080i.
Summary: At first, I did not want to spend more than $500 for a TV. Even though I love watching movies, I considered that paying over $1000 was an insanity... until I saw it. When I physically saw how slim, crystal clear image and the Internet widget, I knew I had to get it. I paid almost $2000, and got so amazed by this TV that I became a Samsung fanatic ever since. I also got a Samsung Blu-Ray, and I can tell you with all sureness; this has been my best purchase ever!
Pros: Excellent color reproduction. Amazing blacks. Unbelievale thin! When I got home and turned it on, I was blown away. After calibrating with Digital Video Essentials BluRay I am speechless! Main remote is both RF and infrared.
Cons: Pebble remote is useless, could have used the money to include wireless connection. Wfgets run slow! Samsung Wall mount is too expensive.
Summary: This is my first HDTV so I'm still somewhat starry eyed. Overall, my Samsung 46" LED set has lived up to the expectations I had going into this purchase. I did a lot of research up front and found the industry and customer reviews on this set along with "tire kicking" visits to local retail outlets convincing enough to take the plunge.
