Summary: Although, I have enjoyed the picture quality and features of this tv, after only owning it for 5 months, it has developed an issue. I have not yet researched the problem yet, but the tv turns itself off and on randomly. I have even removed the batteries, and it still turns off and on. Once it starts, it does it every 2 - 5 seconds. Usually, it turns off, brings up the Smart screen, and back off again, sometimes doing this 10 - 20 times in a row.
Summary: Both of my 40" sets shuts on and off at will. Called Samsung for first set TV that started to turn on and off at will and it took 40mins to have them agree to send out a repair person. They only wanted to send a new cord?? Repair person came and replaced the two complete circuit boards in the TV and that one is now fine. I asked the repairman if this was a common problem since I also had a second new one that I had in use for a week and he said it wasn't.

Summary: I really liked the TV until six months after I bought it the TV started to turn on and off repeatedly without me doing it. I followed all the recommended troubleshooting steps, called Samsung, and they said it needed a repair person. The good thing is this repairman called me the same day and will come out to pick the TV up and take it to his shop for a few days--so, obviously, I will be without a TV for that time.
Summary: I bought this TV to take full advantage of the internet option. It arrived quickly and was very easy to setup; setup is very intuitive and took less than a hour. The TV functioned for about 10 days and then started powering itself on and off constantly. I followed the trouble shooting instructions and it didn't correct the problem. Had to return the TV.
Summary: Not what i expected of this tv! Its works, colors are great, but smart system is very slow, just like iPhone 3 have to wait a lot after every move, internet browser extremely slow even with LAN cable connected to very high speed internet. Disappointed.
Satisfied with the purchase but the price could have been lower.

Summary: Web browser for the TV is slow. Some times TV automatically turns off. Picture quality is good. Sharp display available. Really frustrating mouse pointer and keyword typing capability. Samsung should provide the wireless keyboard with the TV.
Summary: Picture on this TV is excellent. However, in about a week this unit started shutting off and on by itself. Very aggravating!! I called Samsung and after the third call, I finally got them to send a repair company to fix this. I'm still awaiting the repairman to come, which is tomorrow and hopefully all will be fixed. I probably will not purchase another Samsung product. I also own a Visio and LG TV set and they have given me no problems. I cannot recommend this TV.
