Summary: Purchased this as a christmas gift, but after only 3 months, 1 horizontal and 1 vertical line of dead pixels appears on the screen. I tried contacting Samsung but they keep giving me the run around, sending me back to the same trouble-shooting steps on their website that I've run through a hundred times already. I guess I'll just keep trying, until I can get in touch with someone who will actually listen to me.
Avoid Samsung, they do not stand behind their products

Summary: I have purchased many Samsung products and have been very happy with them. However, as I learned with this TV, if one has a problem, Samsung does not back their products with service. I have spent hours on the phone with Samsung, have been handed off from one person to the next, each time I am told to try something else and to call back if the problem still exists.
Summary: Overall, I am disappointed in the picture quality but very pleased with the "smart" features. I would have said 3 and 1/2 stars if I knew how. I have adjusted the picture as suggested by several online reviewers who use tools and science to optimize the variables. I have tried 4 or 5 recommended settings, and done some tinkering of my own.
Summary: when I switch fron internet back to TV picture is lost and source goes to sreen mirror. I have to manually put it back on HDMI 1 to get picture. I was on the phone 2 hours with Samsung and they finaally admitted to me this was an ongoiing defect in all these sets and they have not fixed it as yet. So I returned it and am researching other sets, Samsung admits it I said..
Summary: I had not bought a.new TV in years. My old TV was a NEC that I loved. It had been in storage 4 about 3 years and unfortunately the sound was gone. So the hunt was on. The Samsung is great. The technology in this machine was unbelievable. I just love it. It's the best marriage of computer and TV.
Summary: I can't say enough about how amazing this tv is to me. I have Time Warner Cable and can use this without the cable box for on demand and channels not normally available without a box. The picture is crisp and clear. The sound is great. I'm super happy with this purchase. I would recommend this tv. Apps are preloaded, you can add more and it has a full browser. I really haven't utilized the browser but have played around with it a little.
