Summary: We bought this TV in 11/2012. We loved the quality of the picture & features. In late April 2013, a grey smudge 1/2 the size of a dime appeared in the center of the screen. I submitted an online repair request with Samsung on 5/2. After nineteen days, six e-mails, several phone calls, two repair services, a visit from a tech, three conversations with 'Executive Customer Relations', two different 'ticket' numbers and one review by the mysterious 'Panel Review Board', I've...
Summary: First of all, the TV is amazing. It's great for 360, blurays, and PC usage. I experience no input lag when connecting to my PC to play some FPS games. The PC mode is excellent and I believe it supports 4:4:4 mode for 1 to 1 pixel mapping. The thing with this TV Is that retalers are advertsiing that it is a 120hz set. This is only partially correct. The 120hz only applies to the fact that it can do 3D, but the set does not support Auto Motion Plus to smooth out the image.
Summary: Initially, I was going to stray away from purchasing this because of the lack of HDMI inputs (there are only two), but I found that so far that isn't a huge deal breaker for me. The amount of configuration needed to get a better-than-out-of-the-box picture isn't too bad, and that's without touching the granular white balance settings Samsung offers*.
Summary: Really nice image for the price ; still when action is fast, the image is not sharp. I used to have a Philips before and it was better. But more expensive. One bad point is the lack of HDMI connection (2 only) Good TV however.
Summary: I just bought this TV last week to replace my 7 year old 720p Samsung DLP. What a HUGE difference! The black level on this TV is simply amazing and the clarity is excellent. ( I am reviewing the 46" model--UN46EH6030-- as there did not seem to be a place to do so, but all features are identical to the 40" model ). I must admit I was a bit confused as to the actual refresh rate of this TV as it is marketed as a 120Hz but the box has the 240 CMR logo on it.
Summary: Picked this up on black friday 2012. Bought this UN40EH6030 over the UN40EH6000 which was a bit more. I thought I was getting the same 120hz that the 6000 offered and was also getting 3D. Turns out that the 120hz is only for 3D mode and its 60hz is 2D, its right there in the spec sheet [...] The picture is great. Its thick because its direct lit, not edge lit which I like, not much vignetting. Blacks are black and colors are vivid.
Summary: I like he T V,but the I bought a 3D DVD and it was not very good with my Blue Ray DVD player. also if I am watching on my Humax it warns me it will turn off in a couple of seconds.and if I am not in the room at that time it turns itself off.
