after a,year of gentle use, TV wont turn on
24 April 2014
Summary: I've had this TV for just over a year. At first it was great, but after about a year of very infrequent use the TV would shut off randomly during watching. I searched the issue on the web and found out it was s common issue of Samsung TV's. Called Samsung support who told me they knew nothing about this issue and could not help me. Needless to say, very disappointed. I would not recommend this product or any other Samsung TV for that matter.
Summary: I have the 46" version of this television. Like many people, I was led to believe this was a 120 Hz TV. You can tell that it clearly isn't. The refresh rate is poor. Picture quality is good but it doesn't look any better than my 46" Sharp Aquos that I bought in 2007. Another annoying thing is that the TV tilts slightly on the stand. It is really noticeable as I have the TV sitting in a rectangular cubbyhole.
Summary: Absolutely ridiculous piece of technology. I purchased this tv almost exactly a year ago. It'll be a year go this Sunday. This tv is incredible. The picture just blows me away. Everything is crisp and beautiful. The 3D is really cool. Playing My old PS3 on it was a great experience. Now playing my PS4 will be even better. Buy this TV! You won't regret it.
Good TV untill it starts turning on and off... Problems!!!

Summary: I bought this TV (Samsung UN40EH6030FXZA) last year in November and was very happy that I got just the right TV for me... I did not need any smart features. Just a TV to watch shows and play Xbox. Everything was fine (other than 3D which I didn't quite like) until about a month ago when the problems and issues started ... TV just wouldn't turn on. Tried both the remote control and the actual power button on the TV but nothing.
Summary: We are very pleased with this purchase. I bought it in black friday sale .... With that price i got and Full HD LED TV with 240 motion rate, it is good deal. But i was not much confident on the clarity part.... But when we got the product and we were boned away with amazing picture quality .. Sound is also much better than expected... Only minus is it has only 2 HDMI ports ... Everything else is good. Last but not least it also has 3D functionality ..

Summary: We bought this TV in 11/2012. We loved the quality of the picture & features. In late April 2013, a grey smudge 1/2 the size of a dime appeared in the center of the screen. I submitted an online repair request with Samsung on 5/2. After nineteen days, six e-mails, several phone calls, two repair services, a visit from a tech, three conversations with 'Executive Customer Relations', two different 'ticket' numbers and one review by the mysterious 'Panel Review Board', I've...
Summary: First of all, the TV is amazing. It's great for 360, blurays, and PC usage. I experience no input lag when connecting to my PC to play some FPS games. The PC mode is excellent and I believe it supports 4:4:4 mode for 1 to 1 pixel mapping. The thing with this TV Is that retalers are advertsiing that it is a 120hz set. This is only partially correct. The 120hz only applies to the fact that it can do 3D, but the set does not support Auto Motion Plus to smooth out the image.
Good video quality and 3D moves are great! Sound sucks [especially woofer]

Summary: I have been using this TV for couple of months. Video quality is really good. 3D movies look exactly like they do in theatre. Sound quality is one thing that I am really disappointed about. I don't know if its a problem with my unit or if its the TV itself but music doesn't sound right. Especially woofers feel like they are blowing air [a bit too loudly] rather than making any sound.
Summary: Initially, I was going to stray away from purchasing this because of the lack of HDMI inputs (there are only two), but I found that so far that isn't a huge deal breaker for me. The amount of configuration needed to get a better-than-out-of-the-box picture isn't too bad, and that's without touching the granular white balance settings Samsung offers*.
