Summary: This TV arrived broken and amazon replaced right away. About a year and a half later there was a vertical red line on the right side about 6 inches in from the edge. I had bought a warranty from SquareTrade and it was absolutely of no use, what a waste of money. After taking it to an repair shop, I am told that it may not be fixable.
Summary: Stopped working after about 16 months. Spent an hour on phone trying to get some information. Was told it is out of warranty(12 months) but they gave me # to a local servicer, who immediately knew the problem-needed new smartboard. When I called Samsung back they said they hadn't heard of that problem for this model. If you go online you can find numerous reports of others who have had same problem . Clearly there is a defect in this.
Summary: I ordered the Samsung 40" UN40EH5000 tv from Amazon, expecting to receive a Samsung tv with a Samsung panel (Version TSO_x) for the $489.00 I paid. I received the Samsung tv, but I received one with a cheaper Sharp panel (Version HSO3). No problem, I contacted Amazon customer service and they authorized return of the tv with the Sharp panel and shipped a replacement 40" Samsung which I received the next day.
Summary: Samsung - UN32EH5000FXZA - is a 120 hz. but the "Samsung UN32EH5000 32 1080p LED-LCD TV - 16:9 - HDTV 1080p - 120 Hz" is not. and that is according to Samsung's website. It's only a 60 hz. Besides that The 120 hz TV is under $400 at Samsung so why would we get it here? Clarity in advertisement would help so we would know what TV we are going to get.. Shop around thats all i can say and check the specs before you buy anything..
Summary: Pretty sure this item listing says it's a Samsung. The box I received (from Amazon on 11/23, paid $429) had Samsung on it. The badge on the TV said Samsung. So it's a Samsung, right? No! It's a Sharp dressed up as a Samsung! (version hs03) Weird, right? I thought I purchased a Samsung!
