Summary: Pros: 1) Picture quality is very good. 2) Load of apps available Cons: 1) Remote button's cant be operated in dark unless you use display on and keep looking at remote for every button you press. They should have had little bump tags on important buttons, especially near up, down arrow buttons. 2) TV doesn't respond well to the remote, especially after TV just started. It is very annoying. 3) Too much glare on the TV screen unless you darken the room.
Summary: This is an awesome television. I'd purchased it to replace a two-year old HD television of the same size. The older television had a display refresh rate of 60Hz, and the jagged artifacts while watching football and hockey, the moire patterns of folks in plaid suits and striped ties were making me a little crazy, and the cold-start time of the old-school flourescant backlighting was getting on my last nerve. The image clarity of this Samsung is stunning.
Summary: Christmas present from the parents. Finally upgraded our living room tv now that the little ones are 7 and 5 and 2 no chance of this getting ruined. Have been a Samsung loyalist. Researched out the Ying Yang before deciding on this one. Can't get my Dad out of our living room now. There just aren't words. The picture is outstanding, the smarttv capabilities excellent, sound is terrific - it offers so much. Family movie night now happens in our living room - Fantastic!!
Summary: I did alot of homework on this TV before I bought it. All I can say is Awesome. I only have it a short time So only time will tell how reliable it will be. I however can say at this point I am very pleased with this TV. The picture is truly Amazing, It's the best I have ever seen on any 40" set. This TV's style and features are second to none. If i had any criticism it would be the TV's sound system.
Summary: Very sleek TV with a fantastic picture ... when the picture is visible. The picture on this TV, however, seemed to have a mind of its own. Intermittently, from every 5 minutes to every hour, the picture would break up entirely. The screen would look like electronic interference or just pixels ... I don't know how else to describe it. This would happen no matter what mode -- streaming, playing a DVD, straight TV, through the stereo or not.
Summary: This appears to be a very high quality TV. The picture sharpness and clarity is second to none. Very easy to hook up to the internet through a wireless router as no other equipment is needed. The actual physical dimensions are very compact, leaving a very thin framining. This was a critical factor as I had a very limited space to work with. I have not utilized the 3D aspect at this point so cannot comment on its quality.
Summary: I hope to supporting arabic language.Because Arabic characters are displayed chopped.an example "ÇáÓáÇã Úáíßã æÑÍãÉ Çááå æÈÑßÇÊå" it appear "å Ê Ç ß Ñ È æ å á á Ç É ã Í Ñ æ ã ß í á Ú ã Ç á Ó á Ç"
Summary: I bought this TV last august the 4th, so it's a really recent purchase. The reasons why I decided to buy it were its size, resolution, and obviously the 3D capability. I didn't think too much about it before, but let me warn you, this TV is FAR BEYOND that. This is an absolutely ultimate technology device, and this why I say it: 1. The size of the screen is incredible when it comes the time to play games.
Summary: Pros: Appearance: From the get go, I pulled thing out of the box, and I was impressed on the thiness. Next I put it on the bezel stand and put it in our armoire and was completely awed at the cleaness and style. Set Up: was a breeze, got on my WiFi right away, updated the firmware and away we went. Movies: I hooked up my media PC to it, with over 400 HD movies I have, I ran at least 10 movies on it.
