Excerpt: Replaces old generic brand hdtv 32", the samsung hdtv is very light, has very decent sound and brilliant picture...especially watching blue ray. Added samsung blue ray and so remotes are compatible. There are controls on the lower right bezel with a circular function selector. This is new to me and easy to get used to.
Pros: Best looking TV out there, Easy To Set Up, Good Remote Control, Great Picture Quality, Great Sound Quality, LED-backlit
Summary: We live full time in our motorhome. We don't have a built-in outside entertainment system. I had mounted an older Sony 32" LCD TV and what a royal pain to take it down and put it inside every time we move. This little baby weighs just 17 lbs, is a breeze to move. Supports 1080 HD format too - far more than the 40lb Sony LCD unit and it's 720p resolution. The picture is stunning - even works well outside in daylight.
Summary: This is an excellent TV. Sharp picture and very good contrast. My only gripe is that they discontinued the 37" version of this series. Where the TV sits in our home, a 40" TV is just about an inch too big. This 32" is fine, I'd just like the biggest possible screen you can squeeze into the available space! I did do my homework, one reason we went with this TV was the fact it a Consumer Reports recommended buy for TVs in this size range.
