Flash player out of date
Excerpt: Flash player is out if date (10.1) and cannot be updated. Will not play live streams from the ustream site. The ustream app offered by samsung is also out of date (2012) and will not play ustream programming either. Not a very smart tv that does not get or allow updates. Thing is I just bought this tv and now it is going back.
Can't remove 'Air' channels from list. Can't add new TV channels
24 June 2014
Excerpt: When using the Auto Program, you cannot eliminate numerous unwanted channels. Also, I live in an area where I want to move the antenna to receive other channels. Other sets allow user to make partial channel scan to include all the desired channels. This set was designed only for the cable user and not one that uses both cable and antenna.
Excerpt: Takes too long to get to the Smart Hub on start up. When I use the Web Browser it takes at least one minute to log on the Drudge Report. The extra tab (for a second page) doesn't work well. Navigating to other web sites takes too long. Often, the site will freeze especially when watching a You Tube movie. I get an error message which lets me restart but the movies do not restart where they left off.
Pros: Bright display, Built-In Speakers, Lightweight, Realistic color
Cons: Did not meet expectations, the smart tv is not very smart
If you use an antenna with a rotor DO NOT BUY ANY SAMSUNG TV

Summary: Unlike most other brands, neither this TV nor any Samsung TV (according to their tech support dept) will let you add channels to your already memorized channels. This means that if you pick up 5 channels with your rotor in one direction, and 6 more in another direction, every time you want to see what is on a channel that requires moving the antenna rotor, you must reprogram the TV to be able to see the new channels.
Good at the start. Then issues will come up after a few month.

Summary: Worked fine for the time I had it. Then it started getting these weird issues after maybe 2 months. First off it started to shut on and off on its own. I already checked the auto shutoff feature and disabled it after setting it to factory defaults. The it started getting issues where it wouldn't display any inputs. Restarted again and it just went away. Around December 2nd it straight up wouldn't turn on.
Excerpt: I purchased this as it appeared to be decent quality for a good price. The picture and sound are ok, but...this TV has nothing but problems and constantly turns off and on (only a few months old). I wish I had spend more money and purchased a better TV from a different brand.
Excerpt: first, i don't like e manuals but that is only a personal thing and companies don't provide an actual manual with their products. i cannot figure out how to use the remote as a keyboard. e manual is of no help. there is not a compatible keyboard from samsung that they can recommend that goes with this product. updates are very hard to do since i believe i have to download from my computer to a usb drive. i tried and failed. i would not recommend this product.
Pros: Built-In Speakers, Inexpensive, Lightweight, Realistic color
Cons: Did not meet expectations, no keyboard and remote is worthless for a keyboard, Not high def
Summary: Several things turned me off this device: 1) Some pretty severe ghosting on the Gaming and PC inputs - worst I've seen bar the last Samsung I bought… 2) Odd auto-dimming effect on TV and Satellite STB inputs despite all such features being disabled 3) Terrible remote control 4) Terrible support It was really the terrible support that's finally prompted me to make moves towards claiming a refund for this item.
Summary: This is the second Samsung TV I have had in the last couple of years. The previous one stopped working about 9 months after I bought it; this one lasted less than 6 months. In both cases they'd just sat there on the TV stand, never moved, no power surges, nothing to affect them aside from a couple of hours use each day. Samsung repaired the last one under warranty (although not without a fuss being made) and it lasted another 10-11 months before failing again.
