Excerpt: The set would turn itself off; try to restart, and would finally quit altogether. Repeated trips to the local Samsung authorized repair facility eventually resolved this chronic issue. Avoid the frustration!
Excerpt: I bought this having high expectations due to it being Samsung, maybe too high. The picture quality is good, thats about all I can say for it, and it is energy efficient, only drawing 20-30watts. That being said, the "smart" aspect is horrid. Almost every time I turn the TV on, it says network not connected, and I have to reenter my Wi-Fi password, despite nothing being changed on the network, and none of my other samsung devices lose connectivity.
Excerpt: Hard to use remote to type on keys. Won't interact with ipad or iPod and no tutorial to show how to make it work . As a flat tv it is no better than my twenty inch tube tv I gave to Catholic Charities. I guess that now has increased value in my estimation so I guess I'll ask for bigger write on taxes.
Cons: Did not meet expectations, not friendly with my ipod/ipad., Not high def, no tutorial or manuals, Too complicated
Excerpt: So I bought this samsung un32eh5300, big reason I purchased this tv was so I could watch things like YouTube Netflix and HBOGO and all of these apps come with the tv I was told... come to find out all you get is some BS link to YouTube instead of an app. It's written all over the box and I've seen videos of people using it he'll it's even on the picture of the TV above taunting me while I write this.
Cons: Did not meet expectations, lied through your teeth about youtube app
Excerpt: I bought this TV mainly to watch videos with subtitles (srt), but I was surprised to find that I can not change the subtitle color (white only). I can not change their position too ... and the "large" size is tiny. Resources that any inexpensive device media player has by default ...
Summary: After only 16 months of light usage, this set has begun to ARC: it makes snap, crackle pop noises and that is considered too dangerous to operate, because it could start a fire or badly shock a person. I have checked on the Internet and found customers from Europe, Asia, and North America making similar complaints about this Samsung model or others produced in early 2012. The capacitors are cheap and have failed, owners say.
Excerpt: I purchased this after reading a few reviews, but it has been one of my worst product experiences ever. It has gone from bad to worse, with intermittent wifi connectivity at the outset, and now the TV is rebooting itself randomly. It is really just an expensive paperweight. I am sending it back for warranty work. But there are tons of others out there who experienced this same issue with no recall from Samsung? And now, Samsung is hiding negative reviews.
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Lightweight, Realistic color
Cons: Did not meet expectations, Poor quality, Reboots itself, wifi does not stay connected
