Excerpt: Overall it's a pretty decent TV. I bought this for my wife and we expected a more clearer picture. It took some time to set up our viewing preferences, and even after that, it was not that much of a difference than the TV we had before. The thing I overlooked (which was my fault). No (earphone type) audio out jack to hook up my bedroom speakers. If I had known this, I would not have bought it.
Excerpt: I am happy with the TV. It is good for the money spent. However, I am so very disappointed that it did not have an audio out or at least a headphone jack. After I realized the mistake I made on this TV, I looked at another competing similarly priced TV and it at least had a headphone jack. This TV replaced an old tube type TV, and I am able to pull in 12 channels over the air as opposed to 5.
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Lightweight, pull in more air channels, Realistic color
Cons: Did not meet expectations, does not have audio out, No headphone jack
Summary: At first I thought this TV had poor picture quality, when I had it connected to cable, but the cable does not send shows in HD unless you pay a fee to get them in HD. When I disconnected the cable and connected an antenna, the stations came in very clear, nice picture. But the sound at first was bad, so I adjusted it and improved it enough to get it to acceptable. But the worst part is NOT having an audio output for external speakers.
