Samsung UN32EH4003 32" 720P LED TV (Refurbished)
20 May 2014
Summary: It's taken me a year to write a review since I'm still too disappointed to make sense. This was a gift from my very elderly mother who used her credit card and I do not have the number. I do not want her to know that I bought a ten dollar used TV instead of trying to return the refurbished samsung. The only good thing about the samsung refurbished was the packaging; it was so sturdy that it seemed to me to defy damage to the TV itself.
Summary: I was annoyed to find out, after the fact, that Samsung uses the same model numbers for differently made TV sets with cheap components and boards. If you are unlucky to get one of these sets with cheaper components you are out of luck. All Samsung sets are not alike. You have to find out the letter codes after the model number on the cartons to understand what you are getting. This practice, in my mind, is very deceptive and I will no longer buy their products.
Summary: This tv is 7 months old, and the panel went. Completely no video image. I took it 20 miles from home to the authorized repair business, who, once they determined that the panel was defective and tried to order one, found that it was on backorder with no estimated date of availability. I've been trying for 10 days to get Samsung to replace the set. They will not without a 3-5 day wait for a "review.
Summary: Looks great. Sounds horrible - very tinny. And no Audio out or headphone jack port. It is impossible to connect external speakers! I couldn't believe it. With everyone wanting "home theaters" I can't believe they are making a tv that sounds lousy with no way to hook up better speakers. I figured I must be missing something, but Samsung confirmed there is no audio out capability. This is going right back! Amazon has been great in processing the return.
Summary: i only had this TV for only 5 months and the screen is turning black. you can see black shadows in the back screen. It's right in the middle and it's getting bigger. i contacted the seller and they said that they're not responsible for a defective product. They said that i am supposed to take it up with samsung. I wouldn't recommend this TV or the seller to anyone.
Summary: I purchased three of these TV’s last Christmas for my daughters bedrooms. In less than 5 months two has failed to power on. If you buy from Samsung be prepared. You better keep the boxes, because your going to need them when you have to pay to ship it for a warranty repair. If not you have to pay for the packing materials plus shipping, to a service center. There warranty leaves a false impression and states you are responsible for a 27 inch and below.
