Summary: I purchased this TV on 12/11/11 and enjoyed using it (sparingly) for about 4 months. Then, there was a pop and the sound of broken pieces falling inside the case. Samsung support said that I would need to take it to an authorized repair facility for repairs, which I did. A couple of weeks later I was told that the board had to be replaced...
Summary: I agree with the other reviews -- the picture quality is great. We are happy with all its many features, but my concern is sound. The sound on this was so bad that we had to hook it up to our stereo speakers. At first we thought it would be better if it were not in a cabinet, but even out of the cabinet, the sound was terrible. The TV we were replacing, which we thought was truly awful, sounds a million times better!
Summary: I am very disappointed at the "smart" part of this Samsung HDTV. Sure, you can stream Netflix, HuluPlus and others directly with no need for a Roku or whatever box you want to use. But...without fail, every single Netflix movie I've streamed has caused the TV to reboot itself somewhere in the middle of the movie. And HuluPlus - forget it.
Samsung UN32D6000 LED some things not in previous reviews
14 February 2012
Summary: PROS: Picture quality is great; Remote is easy to use with on/off illumination; Base stand is very sturdy; Pics, video, music, movies plays from usb flash drive(wi-fi if buy adapter). CONS: No hard copy manual(e-manual in tv); Took awhile to figure out how to program favorites(web site FAQ no help) then to figure out how to turn favorites on/off; No WARNING upfront about led screen.
Summary: I use this TV as my primary PC monitor, with my old Samsung T260 as an extended display. The UN32D6000 delivers results that are perfectly respectable, and better than I expected. But still, not exceedingly so. **In this review, I won't be offering any insights or comments regarding the UN32D6000's performance as a television for cable, sports, & movies or Samsung's SmartHub features.** At first, I used a DVI-cable with a VGA-connector as my main input.
Summary: I loved this TV because of the image quality it offers and all the internet options now with the new Samsung Apps and 3rd partner sites. Probably sound quality is not really great but it is fair for our medium-size bedroom.
Summary: Shipped within date range defined. TV works as expected. Image quality is superb and beats the Samsung 42" LCD in the living room. I purchased the Samsung wireless USB adapter, TV picked this up with no issues. Connecting to the network took less time then unpacking the TV. The applications are immature. As soon as 'Smart Hub' is launched on first launch it requires and updated. Then after TV restart another update is needed.
Summary: This is my second samsung television purchase. The television has a fantastic picture quality. It is crisp, clean, and the colors are fantastic. The sound is clear, loud enough, but it is hung on the wall in my bedroom so I am not really cranking it. The television is thin, light, and the menu options are easy to navigate. The tv came in via amazon and I am pleased to say there was no damage and the delivery was fantastically quick.
Summary: Well, this is the first time and possibly the last time I'll order something from the "Amazon returns department". I ordered this TV to replace an old one in our bedroom. The TV arrived quickly and appeared to be almost new. Here's a quick pro's and cons list. Pros: Easy set-up and installation Great picture Many TV options for both audio and video Self diagnostics Cons: Static on all sources - tried different cables and set-up, but all sources had noticeable static from...
