Love this TV!
BKT "BKT", Amazon
29 October 2013
Summary: I was concerned about not actually seeing this close up before buying it, but it arrived in excellent shape and has worked perfectly since I got it. I guess I've had it a year or two now and have had no problems. The picture is perfect!
Summary: We bought this around christmas about 2 years ago. While the display worked fine for about 6 months, the screen started to lag (aka the sound was fine, it looked like it was doing about 1-4 Frames/sec) then the display would stop, and all the colors would fade to black. So we went it into samsung.
Summary: If you're a Samsung fan, you'd be slightly disappointed with this TV. When ghosting isn't a factor, the LED LCD screen is phenomenal. Beautiful vibrant colors and good blacks. Overall, I'd give this TV a 3 due to price and what I expect from a $500 TV at this size.
Pros: Gorgeous, sleek black design. Very thin and lightweight. On-screen menu's have a pretty standard, user friendly layout (if you own other Samsung TVs, it will be very familiar)
Cons: I notice issues with ghosting especially when watching DVDs and Blu-Ray movies. Some people won't notice this, but if you pay close attention it is easily seen. Its more noticeable in dark scenes.
Summary: My first LED purchase so I installed it in the kid's room and now I regret that I didnt put it in mine. Doh!
Pros: Good picture and relatively good sound. Very thin. Down-facing ports on the back for adding components. 4 HDMI - do I really need to say how great that is?? One of the main reasons I purchased this was so that I could grab a movie, put it on a USB thumb drive and watch it directly via the USB por...
Cons: The remote is big and unergonomically designed unless your hands are shaped like Fred Flinstone's. The only other BIG con is that the control buttons on the front are not backlit. In a dark room it's absolutely impossible to manually change the source, channel, volume, etc.
Summary: Do wish it was 1080p, but paid easily $300 less for a picture that displays HDTV as good. Streaming HD through a computer, over-the-air HDTV and HD through your local cable all look just amazing, and is absolutely comparable if not better than the bravia's my family owns.
Pros: This is my third samsung - about to move into a bigger place and needed a bigger TV/monitor than my samsung 2333HD [23 inch with built in OTA tv tuner]. Found one of these on open box [other retailer] and rolled the dice. Very impressed. Monitor is very thin, and well arranged HDMI ports on the s...
Cons: 1360x768 [720p], not 1920x1080 [1080p] - but I knew this when purchasing. It is a bit big for desktop full time gaming, but I have used it all week for word document editing, and it is still very good. Prefer the smaller samsung for that which I am keeping for my primary computer use. If you are ...
Summary: Picked up Samsung 4005 e-series at Costco...Guess its same as 4000...389.00 after 50.00 off...Well I got it home set-up HDMI....Picture great...But no sound! Called Samsung...Costco tech........We did sound test.....There is a sound tone when you turn on and it was ok..
Summary: I really like TV. The picture is clear and very sharp. I've just got it and haven't had the chance to try all the features as of yet. It came to me very fast and well packed and my UPS guy rang the door bell and made sure I knew he brought the TV.
Summary: I thoroughly researched this Samsung TV, and it has exceeded most of my expctations! I do believe that te sound is not the high quality, though. My issue is with Amazon.com. This television for which I paid OVER $500.00 was simply left on m porch!!!!!!!!!!!!! Anyone could have stolen it.
