Good for a bedroom set
19 May 2013
Summary: The picture quality is certainly up there with the best of them but you will need to tweak the factory default settings to get the best out of it. The sound is good enough for a small room (kitchen or bedroom) which is typical of thin LED TVs. Thin is good but the down side is that the speakers are also tinny. i bought a pair of powered speakers and now the sound is very decent.
Summary: This is my first HDTV! Wow, can't believe it has taken me sooooo long to get this task done. As for the Samsung, so far, so good. That's the news for now- Oh, let me say this about you, Amazon. Your company is wonderful to work with. Items arrive on time, "no grief" return policy, very user friendly customer service employees... Keep up the terrific service and business affairs in 2013!
Summary: The Samsung HDTV 26" is a GREAT TV and PC monitor as well. Easy to assemble and started to function with NO problems.I alternate between TV and PC Monitor quickly using an HDMI-DVI cable. I use the PC speakers because the PC/DVI input is not supported. That's OK with me . I have good PC speakers.
Summary: I am incredibly picky when it comes to my electronics, and I rarely write reviews, so for me to give this thing 4 stars I think probably means more than an average 4 star rating. The image quality on this thing is astounding. The picture is crisp, the viewing angle is impressively as good as the description, and the colors are near perfect (I did not even experience the red/orange problem a lot of Samsung TVs have).
Summary: I got this 26" to replace 32" lcd in bedroom and was a happy purchase. This is my 3rd led tv from Amazon some much larger and has always been a good experience. (With the larger ones they even them brought them in and set them up.) Took some fiddling around with the adjustments, but pic is very good on most channels and excellent on many- that with no HD box, just cable upstairs. To my joy it picks up 11 "air" channels !!! So if the cable goes out I'm good.
Summary: I bought this LED TV from Amazon (not from one of the third party suppliers) for my 94 year old father in law to replace his clapped out 15 years old Toshiba CRT set. I wanted a TV that was relatively uncomplicated for him to operate (i.e. it was not a Smart TV, it did not have an HD tuner etc) and had a headphone socket. First of all delivery was superfast - I bought it on a Monday and it was delivered on the Wednesday. Free delivery was included in the price.
Summary: Good value TV. Note, the component also doubles as an a/v. Only problem is the sound quality which is a little tinny / thin sounding at higher volumes but given the price I still think it is good value and especially suited to smaller rooms.
Summary: These tvs do have rich colour and for the price are a reasonable buy, and they do have a nice image. One very small point, the 50 hz does make a difference on the PS3. I have a sony 100hz tv and I can tell the difference when gaming. A bit picky as 26" are rare to have 100hz hoever if you like you spec a bit higher on the TV be aware. This is not aimed jsut at this TV but in general. Only reason I could not give a 5*.
