Had to return it
3 April 2014
Summary: I was putting the T.V. parts together, and after spending a considerable time putting the various parts together, I could not insert the electric plug. My package came with an electric plug for an older model! Had to return it.
Summary: Great little tv for my daughters room. Only complaint is that it was stuck in "store demo" mode and took me 2 hours to figure out through internet searches on how to turn it off. Lets hope that never gets turned on again lol. Most importantly there are two hdmi plugs on this tv so we could plug in the cable box and a blu ray player. Sound and picture quality is excellent for the price.
Summary: I looked around at just about every TV in this category and could not be happier with my decision. The TV has ample ports for setting up connections to external home theater speakers, Apple TV, etc. Picture is crisp and colors beautifully balanced. Programming is relatively simple.
Summary: Because I had an existing Pivotelli wall bracket that would only accommodate certain dimensions I had to adhere to said restrictions. After comparisons of available models and brands I chose Samsung. I am so pleased that I did. Excellent quality and the "best bang for your buck "!
Summary: My 19" Samsung sits on a counter-level peninsula in my kitchen. Initially, I was very disappointed in the color which was very washed out. I hesitated to start playing around with the color controls fearing I would make it worse. I decided to check out the Reviews and discovered the solution in an earlier review. Namely, to go into the "Samsung MagicAngle" option within the "Picture Mode" in the Menu and change the angle to "Standing Mode." That worked like a charm.
Product Pictured is inaccurate - Beware if mounting on a wall!
Mark Eckersdorff, Amazon

Summary: Be aware: If you plan on mounting this TV on a wall, the picture on Amazon's website is inaccurate. The picture is of the 22" model, which shows the mounting screw holes centered on the back of the TV. The 19" model, probably because of the smaller chassis, has the screw holes at the very TOP of the back of the TV. So, when I hung it on the wall mount, about 1/3 of the mounting plate sits above the back of the TV, making it look vaguely like it has bunny ears.
Summary: I had to return this unit. The chemical smell coming off the thing was dizzy-making. Stuck it in a spare room for a few days. Smell still strong. The packaging was permeated with the smell too. Too bad because Samsung pictures are very good. In the past, I've bought Samsungs where the package said "eco friendly -- low VCO". Unfortunately, not the case here.
