A great TV that isn't 3D, smart, and doesn't have apps -- exactly what I wanted
27 April 2014
Summary: I've been happy with Samsung TVs over the years. However, I didn't the expense of a 3D TV, especially for the target location of this one, and I didn't want some app system that would just get out dated before the panel did. However, I did want a good sized TV with new technology.
Summary: Excellent value for its size and rich picture quality, but the sound is abysmal and needs the support of a home theater system. Enjoy lots of movies and live sports. Bought back in September 2013, no problems or regrets at all.
Summary: This TV has an awesome display. It blows my much more expensive but older Samsung LED TV out of the water. Unfortunately it lacks inputs so you should probably use an A/V receiver or designate this as your bedroom TV. This video overview is from the JerryNeutron YouTube channel.
Summary: The picture is amazing! I was really happy with the price I paid and the delivery service that Amazon provides. My only problem is that this TV only has 2 HDMI hook-ups. I didn't think this was an issue when I bought the TV, but after a few weeks I do wish I had gotten a model with 4 HDMI hook-ups.
