Great picture but lots of glare in sunny room

STANLEY PAPACHRISTOU, Amazon
18 November 2014
  • Summary: Great picture but lots of glare in sunny room. Certainly not the quality of our Sony in base and is quite wobbly. Not good for a home with children.

Good product, however

James W. Anthony, Amazon
2 September 2014
  • Summary: Good product, however, I did not realize this unit had no Audio Out so I cannot hook up my ear phones I need because I have become hard of hearing. I cannot use the TV at night in my bedroom when others are sleeping. I cannot afford a hearing aid so I don't know how to correct this situation.

Good for the Price

John J Hart, Amazon
23 February 2014
  • Summary: Picture quality is good for standard 120 Hz however the sound is very weak and it does not have a amplifier. Nothing that a sound bar would remedy. Shipping was great as it even came a few days earlier than expected. For price comparison and size you can go wrong.

Great TV if it works.

Charles H, Amazon
9 August 2012
  • Summary: I had a Samsung LN40C500, which was a good TV but was known to have some faulty capacitor breaking after 2/3 years. While I managed to repair it (soldering new capacitor on the TV mother board), the tv worked fine but I was suspicious about Samsung TV. Apparently, it was a known issue.

Setting up PC/HDMI has 1 hidden step

ComputerGuyNJ, Amazon
24 July 2012
  • Summary: When setting up the PC for HDMI, there's a hidden step that's not very obvious, nor required by other brands of TVs: If you don't do this, the TV will only display in 1650x1050, not 1920x1080. This will cut off the start bar. Your PC must be hooked up to HDMI port 1.

Decent Picture Quality and Sound, but a little pricey.

Joshua, Amazon
12 July 2012
  • Summary: After a good few weeks with this TV I decided to return it and try something else. It's not that it wasn't a "bad" TV necessarily, but it's just not great especially considering the price and other TV's in the same price range. Pros - Sound: It's actually pretty great.
