Summary: This set has a BEAUTIFUL picture but there is a but. IT HAS NO AUDIO OUTPUT FOR SURROUND SOUND.The sound is marginal at best, when you turn the volume up Samsung purposely distorts the base for a movie effect. I called customer service and they had me run a sound check built in to the set.
Summary: I returned the TV just 1 day after I got it. I watched a DVD and the image wsd close to excellent. Then I watched a soccer game and that's when I got sooo disappointed. The ball if kicked hard, seemed to freeze and disappear for an instant, very frustating, even the players when running gad the same...
Summary: just got this today; coming from a 2009 samsung 40". the differences are phenomenal. picture out of the box is great, i've tweaked it a bit...and will explore that more over next few days. but overall...amazing picture. the depth, clarity, definition..
Summary: I had a Samsung LN40C500, which was a good TV but was known to have some faulty capacitor breaking after 2/3 years. While I managed to repair it (soldering new capacitor on the TV mother board), the tv worked fine but I was suspicious about Samsung TV. Apparently, it was a known issue.
Summary: When setting up the PC for HDMI, there's a hidden step that's not very obvious, nor required by other brands of TVs: If you don't do this, the TV will only display in 1650x1050, not 1920x1080. This will cut off the start bar. Your PC must be hooked up to HDMI port 1.
Decent Picture Quality and Sound, but a little pricey.

Summary: After a good few weeks with this TV I decided to return it and try something else. It's not that it wasn't a "bad" TV necessarily, but it's just not great especially considering the price and other TV's in the same price range. Pros - Sound: It's actually pretty great.
