Summary: COMPARED TO OUR LAST TV THAT IS ONLY 5 YEARS OLD.THE POWER CONSUMPTION IS SO MUCH LESS!!!!! THAT IT IS AMAZING.WE ARE OFF OF THE GRID AND DEPEND ON SOLAR POWER AND BATTERIES.SO THAT WAS A BIG PLUS.
Summary: I just bought this TV today, I'm very impressed with the picture quality, it is awesome. I don't know what the contrast ratio is for this TV but the black levels are ink black, so that's good enough for me. Colors are very vibrant and rich, but natural looking. Its a fantastic TV.
Summary: It was hard to tell in the store if the picture quality was very good so the guy that worked at our local store did a special hook up for me. He did and I could see how clear the picture really was. It is so clear that I can see fly away hairs on peoples heads on screen!! I am happy with my purchase and would recommend this to a friend!
Summary: The picture is great! I wonder if I should of went with a smart TV Looked at both series model 6300 and the smart TV as far as web browsing would not use. I have a note book for that but it does have more settings on it for the picture and auto light adjustment along 5.1 surround sound something my model does not have.
Summary: I bought this TV after returning a 55" Vizio LED smart TV. I thought this TV sounded great, although it was a little more than the comparable TV's and wasn't a smart TV. I took it home and hooked it up and the picture was pretty good but i found out that it DID NOT have an audio out option. I was very disappointed because i could not hook it up to my sound bar. The sound on this TV by itself is very sub par.
Summary: This set has a BEAUTIFUL picture but there is a but. IT HAS NO AUDIO OUTPUT FOR SURROUND SOUND.The sound is marginal at best, when you turn the volume up Samsung purposely distorts the base for a movie effect. I called customer service and they had me run a sound check built in to the set. Everything checked out ok, this is just what the set does. They then blamed my blu-ray player, what a joke. It sounds terrible.
Summary: This model has received great reviews on the internet, which is why we purchased it; however, we found the picture quality severely lacking... even after contacting Samsung to ask their calibration recommendations. I followed those, along with trying various online expert suggestions, to no avail. The edges of all subjects in any form of motion, slow or fast, were blurred and disorienting to watch.
