  • Summary: BE CAREFUL. We were told this was a very high-end TV that would last for years. It lasted two years, and now we have a vertical blue line (pixel problem?). Two local TV repair businesses said that for the price of the TV, Samsung should stand behind it's product and make the repair.

  • Summary: I bought the SAMSUNG UA60D8000 2 years ago, cost 3 to 4000 US dollars including the DVD player. I have been away for work and the TV have been used for about 6 months. The screen gave up and now SAMSUNG wants 1000 US Dollars to repair the TV.

Great when it works which is not often enough

  • Summary: This is the first one star I have ever given but I couldn't rate this tv any higher. I had the tv for less than 3 months the first time all the HDMI ports stopped working. It took a month to get someone out to "repair" it, which involved doing a hard reset from the manufacturer debug menu.

Worst TV Ever

  • Summary: I've owned this POS since 01 July 2013. Since then, I've had to have it serviced TWICE. The first time was to replace a bad board. There are three in the TV. My guess is that this time it's one of the other two.
