Excellent for hearing loss, or technology impaired!

Summary: This TV is superb. I have a customer with hearing loss so I purchased this TV for her. The set up was simple, on screen guide, step by step, and you perform a hearing test for the audible vs. inaudible frequencies.
Summary: Samsung makes the best HD TV at a good price better than Sony and Sharp and all others. Outstanding technology, yields the best picture. Looks 3D in 2D. Am going to replace all sets I have with Samsung 240 MHz 3D sets .
Summary: As expected, the picture is great! All in all, I'm satisfied with the TV. I'm just going to list the 2 faults I have with it here. First, the controller is annoying to use. The touch feature is a gimmick and may sound cool on paper but it does not work and is a pain to use at times.
Summary: TV was purchased for an 85 year old. TV does not come with a standard remote, it comes with the smaller slippery remote that has no numbers on it. Called samsung for an exchange for the regular remote. The customer rep stated that there would be an extra charge. Huh?
Summary: TV arrived inside another box in which I was pleasantly surprised. No damage to the outside box and no damage to the actual TV box. However, when I plugged the TV in for the first time, it was if there were two parts to the display. The bottom half was perfect as you would expect.
Consistent with Consumer Reports' excellent rating

Summary: Micro-dimming feature and smart hub are great features. Sound is wonderful. No need to spend extra dollars to get sound bar etc. Picture quality is great -- although my condo associations still has old fashioned analog cable service.
