Summary: This unit is excellent as a replacement for a smaller screen. Nice size....I think this is about the maximum size for what I need. Color is true and the fact it can be used as a TV is nifty though I rarely use that option. The pricing for these larger monitors has come down quite a bit compared to a few years ago......then again, what hasn't come down!!
Summary: So, for starters - I had an older smaller version of this same samsung monitor and its been a trooper. The old one has been going strong for 5 years nearly at this point. I've transitioned it into a regular TV and I wanted to get a larger newer replacement. I Chose this beast. I chose to get a refurbished model to save a few dollars and it turned out to be a massive mistake.
Summary: A lot of people go wrong when choosing a TV to be dual used as a monitor (the spacing between the liquid crystals is far more on a TV than on a computer monitor, causing eye-strain and fuzzy text/images). This HDTV Monitor is better by far, but not as clear as a dedicated monitor.
Summary: Bought this monitor as an upgrade from a fairly old 21" Dell monitor that swiveled, tilted, turned side-to-side & had vertical adjustment as well as had a docking function for my old Dell Lattitude E6500. Originally found this monitor listed at another website, only to find out they no longer carried it.
Summary: While its not a Sony CRT it is a nice picture. This is my first non-Sony TV in 30 years. Im impressed with the picture and the controls. The remote is a little fussy but thats to be expected with all the things that need to be controlled.
