Pros: Up converts to 3d. Great blacks. Hard for LCD screens to refresh and keep sports blur free like this set. Power consumption is nearly as low as LCD. Have the set hooked up to Yamaha 773 for great sound and Samsung 3d bluray player.
Summary: This has been the best t.v. I have owned. 3D is great. I did not know what to expect and have been very happy. Still learning to operate but the voice recognition works well. Best part is that even though it is bigger that the t.v. it replaced, the screen and not the cabinet is bigger.
Summary: Wonderful. Bells, whistles, sirens are all there and easily accessible. I think. Perhaps one day I will find them all, but for now, one would be foolish to complain about any element of this outstanding television.
Summary: This is our first flat screen. We have had it 3 months now. It included some sort of enhanced delivery/setup but all the delivery guy did was uncrate the TV and plug it in to make sure the thing powered up. Of course the stand has to be assembled and attached to the TV.
Summary: I won't bore you with a long review here. I read the reviews about cracked screens, loud buzzing, image retention, and the various other reported problems with this set. I am glad I decided to go to CNET and watch their video review in which the reviewer states this is the best picture he has ever...
Summary: Great quality picture - Samsung plasmas are some of the best on the market. However the talk and gesture controls are clunky, they kind of work, but I was hoping they would work much better. You need to have a very bright room for the gestures to work.
Summary: I love it, but then I love big tvs. It has a great picture. It's got a lot of kitchy features, which work but they are a little glitchy so you have to learn how to use them. The 3D is very good, and I was surprised to learn that the 3D worked for Call of Duty on my Playstation 3.
