Summary: As someone who did research for months on end trying to get the right TV I'll write the kind of review I wished was written The TV never made it on the stand went directly on the wall so I can't comment on that. The TV has had no buzz but I live in MD at about 76 miles above sea level and from my understanding this creates most of the issue. The picture is ridiculous. I previously owned a 1080p lcd from sony which always had good picture(especially on blu rays).
Summary: Im a plasma fan. I will only buy plasma. So please take this with a grain of salt. Styling is very nice. Not a huge fan of the leg style stand as far as function goes but no doubt it looks nice. Havent used the 3d so no comment. Havent tried the "smart features" cause I dont really care about those, sorry. TV is super light for a plasma. Broke in the set for 200 hours prior to calibration.
Summary: I must admit we were a little concerned ordering a television by internet, but we have been extremely pleased. The TV was delivered in a timely manner with no damage. It was not difficult for my husband to set up and the quality of the set is great. Because I have "Prime" with Amazon we got free delivery-a great bonus on such a large item.
Summary: I was looking for an affordable plasma TV & I found one in the PN60E6500. While quality 'black levels' were something that I was searching for, I was also interested in a plasma that provided vibrant colors, as well. Without sacrificing much in the 'black level' department, that is exactly what this TV does. I'm very happy with my purchase.
Summary: Great television. I have always liked Samsung but was amazed at the quality of 3d, smart tv, etc. for the price of this set. Superior quality is now available for nominal prices. Easy hookup as my son and I installed the set. So far , I have been more than pleased with the Samsung 60 inch.
Summary: Ordered this puppy (new) after having issues twice with used P60ST50. The Panasonic plasma's have a darker black level, however after tweaking the video settings on this Samsung... wow the overall picture quality is better IMHO. I used these settings: [...] It is a very accurate picture and there is a mild buzzing but not enough to notice or to make me crazy. Couldn't be happier with this purchase for only 1400... Don't hesitate on this purchase. Buy buy buy.
Summary: I have owned this TV for a little over a month and it meets all expectations. I was afraid of buying a plasma screen because of all the warnings about viewing in bright lighting situations .The picture is great the only time there is glare on the screen is when the sun is shining straight through the window the TV faces, i just close the shades and continue watching. I have it hooked up to a surround sound system so i can't comment on the sound.
Summary: I haven't been using it for very long, but in the short time I have had it, I have not been disappointed. I used the Disney WOW BD to set it up after a pretty good break in period and the picture quality has been phenomenal. I do not notice any buzz that others have mentioned from the speakers and I sit about eight feet away from mine.
Summary: Pros: - unbelievable picture clarity and color - very customizable yet very good out of the box - excellent price-to-performance ratio - great connected/internet options for online viewing - deep, inky blacks cannot be praised enough Cons: - very minor reflection (only if the light source is directly in front of the screen) - there is no such thing as too thin - the stand makes it difficult to place a speaker right in front of the tv I bought this tv 5 months ago and it...
