Overall a good value and good picture
30 November 2013
Summary: I've had the TV for about a year. Picture quality is good, has all the features I need. It has a good low profile look. Overall I'm pleased and would buy again. Only two drawbacks are it only has 2 HDMI ports, so I end up having to connect and disconnect things a lot. The other is it takes a seconds or two to turn on, it's a little thing but I sometimes push power a few times and end up turning it on then off then on. No big deal.
Summary: The picture and color look absolutely stunning for standard settings. The reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because of the sound, no matter how much I adjust it, it still sounds like voice, even when I set it on music.
Summary: I was considering this and the Panasonic plasma 60". I didn't mind either but wife wanted Samsung for the brand and design. I don;t really care much about the brand but do care about the performance. Picture quality will beat any LED/LCD within 2~3 times its price. The only complaint is that the TV tints when the full screen becomes white. Doesn't bother me too much but i will drop a star becoz of it. Otherwise, I love this TV.
Summary: I ordered the Samsung Plasma TV on November 18 and received it on the afternoon of November 26. Thanks to my friend who happens to also own a Samsung Plasma HDTV, I was able to purchase this guy for $847.99. Otherwise, I would have missed the deal. I invited him over to help with assembling a credenza (Techcraft TCL6228 - also ordered from Amazon)and placement of the TV. Once all was said and done, everything looked beautiful.
