Plasma Screens Are Built To Fail.

Summary: ]The Skinny: I bought a PN64D7000 64 inch in August 2011. It lasted 4 years before two vertical stripes appeared - green and red. Pros: Plasmas have the best black contrast. This matters more when viewing in 3D. The refresh rates are also spectacular for sports.
3D broadcast does not work,, Amazon prime App is not included

Summary: There are lots of detailed reviews of all the good things about this tv. Therefore I will restrict my comments to the problem with this tv that people should know before buying this tv. I have had the PN 51 D7000 since May 2011. I have been waiting for the 3D broadcasts.
Summary: The picture on this plasma is amazing at a great price, however there was a distinct buzzing that could be heard from 8-10 feet away even with the volume up. Supposedly all plasmas have a buzz, however this was extremely noticeable.
Summary: And, there is nothing you can do about it! After three weeks of enjoying this TV's superb picture quality I decided to return it for three reasons. Mainly - it does buzz constantly!!! Samsung on their support site will explain this as normal plasma sound.

Summary: Received this TV a week ago. It was a replacement for a damaged one I had received a week earlier. I had already read about some of the issues with the Real Black Filter peeling, but I was hoping i would get one without the issue. The TV creates a stunning picture. Better than any other i have seen.
