Excerpt: We are very happy with the tv. Only downside it is a different brand than surround system so we need to use a separate remote for the volume. But we knew this going in. It's a great TV for the price. B&H had very quick free shipping.
Excerpt: I love this TV, and it is a great value! Reasons it did not receive 5 stars from me: it does reflect any direct light, and the sound quality is only OK. However, the picture quality is unbeatable and I couldn't ask for a better TV for the money.
Pros: Attractive Design, Energy Efficient, Fast Setup, Good Remote Control, Good Resolution, Great Picture Quality
Excerpt: I mostly got the TV to watch movies on, as I rarely watch TV. The picture is very good (I suggest and recommend the Movie picture display setting, as it provides the best viewing option - brightness, color rendition). As with plasmas, the screen is more glossy than LED matte screens, therefore, there is some glare, so best for rooms that won't brightly reflect off the screen...
Pros: Attractive Design, Good Remote Control, Great Picture Quality, Great Sound Quality
Excerpt: Very pleased with this purchase! For the sale price, you can't beat this tv. It has a good picture, good sound, and large screen. The features are basic (no smart content or 3D), but everything works well. This model is susceptible to screen glare so make sure you use it in a light-controlled environment.
Pros: Attractive Design, Good Resolution, Great Picture Quality, Great Sound Quality
Summary: You wanna go samsung or lg. I went samsung plasma cause i game and cant afford the led with this size and refresh rate. This tv has only two hdmi ports. Glare is an issue during the day but its not that bad with the blinds down.
Excerpt: The picture is solid, bright to the edges of the screen. As far as built-in speakers go, these are fine, though the lows aren't quite as good as my old Sony. But for a "no-frills" tv (no 3-d, no built in wifi or voice control, blah blah blah) it's great. Slim profile, easy to set up, plenty of connections for devices.
51" Samsung Plasma TV is very satisfactory but has no RCA audio jacks

Summary: This Samsung 51" plasma has replaced a five year old Samsung 46" LCD which has been moved for use in another room. I was unprepared for the improvement in image clarity over the LCD set, but it is undeniable. It required some tinkering with the settings to get the ideal picture for me. The screen is very reflective, as I expected, but the light in this room is controlled and I watch movies in total darkness at night.
