Summary: I'm still happy with the purchase.
Pros: Overall the TV is a great, picture is good color and black levels are superb, runs cool no buzzing noise like some others and it sips energy compared to my last plasma.
Cons: 1. Image retention is a big problem. I can't watch a half hour show without some channel's logo burning into the screen but it goes away totally after about 5mins when the channel has been changed to something else. I'm not use to this, my old panasonic th-50pz850u which died on me 2 weeks ago ne...
Summary: The amount of TV you can get in a modern plasma for the $ is shocking compared to LCD or LED. I have been shopping around for some time now and decided to go with plasma. I watch lots of sports and Blu-Ray's so the 600Hz refresh rate was a huge selling point for me.
Pros: USB, 4 HDMI, easy to use menus, pivoting base, web connectivity. Great size for the $. Low glare - even with two small windows directly in front of it. The picture is very nice for the size of display and it seems to handle blu-ray and sports very well. The internal media player has so far worked...
Cons: In a small room you will notice a buzz or hum coming from the screen. This buzz can be annoying when your movie goes quiet (or gets suspenseful!). This thing does put some heat off as well. The remote is kinda goofy; went and ordered a Universal (from NewEgg of course).
