Excerpt: Generally, this TV looks excellent thanks to deep, slick black finish and rounded edges. It comes with functional swiveling table stand. The quality of picture is superb and brings to your home true big screen entertainment. It is easy to use; remote control is handy and simple, too. A very affordable price is unmatchable and this is beyond doubt top value 50 inch plasma. So far I do not have any cons.
Summary: I give this TV a four star rating because of the picture quality. It is great for the cost of couse but the picture is still a little dull. I have a 42in Sony in the other room and the picture quality is sooo much richer and brighter. Good tv for the price like I said but I guess I was expecting the same quality as the other tv.
Summary: This plasma is a 720P resolution TV. The sharpness provided rivals other 1080P TVs that I have seen. The colors are deep, vivid and the blacks are awesome. As manufacturers phase out production of the 720P plasmas for the 1080P models, incredibly good buys on the remaining 720Ps can be found. They are worth considering.
Summary: This is one of the best purchases we have ever made - we are loving this tv! I know, I know, plasma's are on their way out. But, this is our first flatscreen....and for $699 and no shipping or tax, who cares? If we have to replace it in a few years, I'll feel better that we only spent what we did, plus by then the LED's will have come down in price so much that we can afford one. The colors on this tv are unbelievable.
Summary: Got this tv to replace my 37" hanspree tv that just quit. I bought this tv at sears for only 699 plus tax. The tv was very easy to hookup. Just one hdmi cable coming from my home theater. Picture quaility is great. Have a xbox 360, ps3, and direct tv hd box connected. TV only has 2 hdmi ports but luckily my receiver has 3. Hooked up xbox and it detected that 1080p worked. So I tried the direct tv and ps3 and they both detect 1080p.
Summary: Excellent Price! $699.99! It is worth the price considering I could not find a 50inch HDTV by any brand for that price! Of course, I understand it is only a 720p ,but, to get a 1080p 50inch it would have been $400 to $800 more1 It has great colors, great blacks, but, the sound wasn't very good. I use Logitech Z2300 for a theater sound.
Summary: I bought this TV as an early Christmas present via amazon after the black Friday Walmart ad for a $699 50" Samsung plasma came out (pn50b400). After doing some research, I ended up finding the pn50b430 on amazon for the same price (and it has an extra hdmi input compared to the 400). When browsing through the stores and reading reviews online, I was really leaning towards Samsung models due to their superior color and great image processing.

Summary: I have been on an endless search for a big screen TV since Christmas Last year. I have a great friend that owns a company in Allegheny, NY from which Amazon post's their competitors sales price for product as sold in comparison to Amazon's pricing. He told me that for the home entertainment TV's Plasma is the best buy, for everyone is now moving on to purchasing the newer and hottest technology that the industry has to offer.
