Summary: seems all plasma TV's that don't cost more than $1000 have surface reflective glare. The problem is bad enough that I almost sent it back. Coating films are available for about $100. If the film was put on in the factory it would add $10-$20 to the cost. The glare really does interfere with the performance. Otherwise it's a fine plasma TV. There are a shortage of input/output jacks but that also appears to be standard with lower cost TVs these days.
Summary: Actually got this from BB for about 400, comparing it to a 42 inch Toshiba 1080p set. For Blu Ray movies and streaming mkv's I really like this box over the Toshiba. Less overly bright, nice saturation and good flesh tones. What I don't get, and can 't find online is how to get good settings paired with the Xbox. With the Toshiba, there seems to be a better communication between the two devices doe everything kind of happens automagically.
Summary: This is a very good television for the price. However, the sound could be better. I had to buy some external speakers to add to the bass, but only cheap computer speakers that hide behind the television stand.
Summary: The deal maker for this was the guaranteed next day delivery since my other TV was on the fritz, Sadly guaranteed clearly means different things to different people and it seems I was guaranteed to get an email saying my delivery was delayed! The TV itself is ok for the money, pictures good and clear and HD looks good but the sound is terrible very tinny with no body to it.
