Summary: I was looking for a high definition TV and did not have a whole lot of money to spend. After setting my price point and doing a lot of research I came to the conclusion that this would be the best TV for the amount of money I could spend. I am very happy with the decision. The picture is excellent and is better than any LCD I have seen without tripling what I paid for it. I use this TV with my xbox 360, Wii, and Google TV and have absolutely no complaints.
Summary: For close to $450 delivered it is quite a bargain at half the price of 1080P sets. The lesser resolution of 720P is unnoticeable at my viewing distance of about 8 feet and I have not heard any background hum at low volume as others have noticed. One thing I am aware of is a bit jittery motion blur with high contrast white edged objects when viewing a streaming Netflix movie.
Summary: Hello, I brought this TV for my daughter. Ordering and delivery were just fine ( delivered 2 days early and on schedule). Un packaging was effortless. When it came time to assemble the base I found that the screws are self tapping type. That means that there are no threads in the hole and the screw cuts them as it is inserted. I tried one by hand and it was very hard sooooooooo. I 1, got my driver drill with a Phillips bit, 2, got a bottle of dish-washing detergent.
Summary: I have had the TV for a month now. Pros: - The image is awesome compared to my previous 27" tube TV. - Quick (and free) delivery by Amazon, it arrived in about a week - Great price Cons: - I did get a buzzer. I can hear a high pitch buzzing under normal volume from about 6 feet away. After about a month I think I have gotten used to it. I normally don't even hear it now, unless I try to listen for it. - The power cord is short for my setup (it is about 5 feet long).
Summary: I purchased this set 2 weeks ago and really happy with the TV and price. The picture looked astonishing when i watched Star-Trek on blu ray last night. The set has got decent audio for a Television. Only reason iam giving it a 4 rating is because of the screws!! Like one reviewer pointed out... the screws that come with the set do not seem to be the right size. They just seem one size bigger and though i got them in alright..

Summary: Okay for a $500 42 plasma its not fair to expect the world but I would most important is picture quality and it does great. I remember seeing other reviews that also said its comparable to other 1080p tvs and I would usually laugh at them for not being able to discern the difference. Now that I have experienced it firsthand I can say the same thing. Few bits to note. Only three picture modes standard dynamic and movie.
Summary: I give this Samsung Plasma TV high marks. But you have to be aware that if you watch it in well-lit or sunny areas, the reflections are pretty strong. I prefer to watch this set at night .. when there isn't any glare and the colors are vivid and like an oil-painting. If you need a daytime TV in bright surroundings, you might want to check out an LCD model. Also I turned off the feature that adjusts the picture depending on how bright it is in the room.

Summary: This tv is wonderful. The image quality is phenomenal and looks great in my room. Assembling the base was a bit difficult, as the screws that screw the TV into the base were a little too big for the holes. Overall, it probably took me 20-30 minutes to get it together, but after that everything was pretty self explanatory. I consider myself a gamer, and bought this HD tv to replace the other plasma I had bought.
Summary: Great TV. Couldn't ask for anything more. My eyes were in love the first time I watched anything on it. The only cons I can think of is that it gets really hot. Even hotter to the touch on a warmer day. I think a lot of plasmas are like this though. And when building the set, all the screw holes were done really poorly. The threads don't take the screw in correctly so you will be stripping them even more. Takes some muscle to get them in and it still goes in crooked.
Summary: First and foremost, this TV will give you the biggest bang for the buck. To be able to get into a brand-name TV of this size at this price is simply phenomenal. The other reviews pretty much say it all. I would just like to add that being a plasma TV, the picture is significantly warmer to the eyes and more inviting, so to say.
