Excerpt: I have had my 42 inch Samsung PLasma for 3 years now and i love it. The picture is greatand you can see it from anywhere in the room. THe reason I don't give it 5 stars is because I have noticed some distoration when the picture on screen is dark lieka night scene it becomes very hard to see and sometimes there is a glare from a lamp in the house. Other then that is a great tv.
Excerpt: beautiful picture and sound . very sleek looking . friends think it is a great tv. only problem is it makes a loud sound when turning on and off , so no way are you going to be quiet turning it off at night . i have had it 18 months now.
Excerpt: This tv is great! I bought it a couple months ago, for a really great price at BJ's and the picture quality is wonderful. I hung it in my downstairs family room and it looks beautiful. It was easy to mount and to figure out the controls on it. I bought this tv after my father bought the same one. I love it!
Excerpt: We actaully own 4 Samsung plama TVs now- we started out with one for the bedrooma dn becasue it held up so well, never had any problems after 2 years, we bought one for each of our daughter's bedroom and now one for this model, which is in our living room. It has a great picture quality, espcially in HDTV, which we have thorugh our sattelite provider Direct TV.
Excerpt: We purchased this television in October of last year and I love it. It's picture clarity is great and it's very simple to use. My 3 yr old can operate it. We were concerned about it being a plasma but it's been perfectly fine. Well worth the money. If you're a sound junkie I would recommend and external speaker system.
Excerpt: I bought the Samsung 42 inch plasma TV almost two years ago, the price was very reasonable for the TV that I received. The positives of this product are the picture quality is great and the price was considerably cheaper than most of the other TVs that are available. The downfalls of this particular TV are that if you leave it on espn for long periods at a time or keep video games on pause it will burn red into the screen itself.
Excerpt: I got a great deal on this TV when I bought it a few months ago, and now I feel that I've used it enough to make a good review. First, the picture looks great. The images are clear, and the HD channels I receive (over a coax cable) look great. The audio isn't bad, but the disparity between channels can be aggravating. For example, ESPN is louder than almost every other channel. All of the local HD channels are amazingly quiet.
Excerpt: Every television that I have chose in the last couple of years has been a Samsung, I have had such a great time using these products that I can't get enough of them. The amount of ports that are in the television make it easy and adaptable to use when hooking up different types of gaming systems and entertainment systems. The picture and clarity of the screen is so clear and there has been no evidence of wear and tear on the system.
Excerpt: When I initially saw this television I had no idea the crisp, sharp picture I was really going to get. The color is exeptional and the menu choices for color range is great. You can zoom into the picture as close or as far as you like. When I was on the market for a new television all my friends suggested two others that are very well known that I knew had a good reputation. I am undoubtedly glad that I had an open mind and did not go with their recommendations.
Excerpt: From my personal experience, I have found that the Samsung 42 in. HDTV Plasma TV is a very high quality purchase. I purchased one in July, and have found that it provides a very good viewing experience. The picture quality is crisp, and clear. The colors are precise in nature. The sound quality is flexible and brings out all of the different portions of the song. The bass is low where you want it to be.
